The Ogaden which boast one of the larger land mass and the biggest energy potential are regulated at the bottom . So much for we're EthiopiansWhile Hailemariam is from the SEPDM, Demeke Mekonnen is from the ANDM; Debretsion Gebremichael is from the TPLF; and Muktar Kedir is from the OPDO

You fight for it, you win and you decide.
TPLF and its allies defeated Mengistu with the help of EPLF (Eritrea). So they have the ultimate say in the same manner Isaac have the ultimate say in SL affairs because SNM won. All other bitchz have to submit.
Can you imagine Dhulos creating a Khaatumo party for SL elections?

The TPLF and its allies slide lined rebels such as ONLF, OLF and others even though part of ONLF was later given piggy back ride by Abdulmajed and his party to form 'union'. But those guys are only allowed within Somali Kilil and nothing more. Xagas bay isku cunaan.
The coalition is only Tigrai, Amhara, Oromo and Woleita.

ok what do you make of this idea of revolutionary democracy which is styled as an alternative to the western liberal democracy. Also how do you view the building of the so called democratic developmental state which I see comes as part of using china as a model in both economics and politics / governanceAwRastaale wrote:&&@

Re: Inside the workings of Ethiopia's ruling party
There is no democracy in Ethiopia and revolutionary is a word Ethiopians use and abuse.
There hasn't been any revolution in the country even though Mengistu came close to since he abolished the monarchy system, constitution, etc.
But really there was no cultural, behavioural or educational revolutionary change.
