in my opinion people who live in badiye are ok to have 10+ children. they can take care of them plus there are low chances they all survive. but the somalis who lives in cities especially diaspora if they want to raise good kids they have no option rather than to have family plan 3-5 children is more than enough.

That's the thing. I think what is said in the Quran is missunderstood by many Somalis and many believe is haram, I've heard Somali woman discussing this many times..
