lodoon and susu proved in marriage not always what "us" outsiders think of it or judge it. I am sure susu ninkeeda is very happy and what he gets from her out weights any side effects we may think of it.
ps; pet are great and they are as valuable as family members. my cats, I even feel guilty to call them cats, they are lilly and skylar. an equal family members.

If you knew me, you would know that I treat my husband with so much respect that all his friends are jealous.. What I write on here is to be taken lightly.AirBitaale wrote:Susu000 wrote:I don't mean marwo as married, but marwo as treating and respecting her husband exceptionally.AirBitaale wrote:[quote="

I even try most times to arrive home before him
So that I can prepare his food for him.
We have a very weird strange relationship that nobody but us two understands. And we are happy which is the most important thing.

No offence ,but your man is a nacas.
We even have a rule that we don't talk too much in the mornings.
He works, brings home the money, enjoys his home clean and tidy and to relax and play with the kids and tvgame.
He lets me do the things I've written before because that lets him get his peace and quite but trust me, he is everything but a nacas.
We have a mutual understanding of how to cohabitate and its perfect for both.

you remind me an old lady who visited us from the west. we were in the car and she was telling my stepmom, " haweenki somalida hada 3 iyo 4 bey dali, dee markey labo jeelka ka galo, midna 3aasi noqdo, midna mid 7un goorsado.... hadee wa khasaaro. iney iska dalan bey aheyd 10, mid on ko ka so bi7i laha o nafa3ayo![]()
Lol
in my opinion people who live in badiye are ok to have 10+ children. they can take care of them plus there are low chances they all survive. but the somalis who lives in cities especially diaspora if they want to raise good kids they have no option rather than to have family plan 3-5 children is more than enough.
Re: Somali Women Fertility rate
I think the problem is also that many Somalis believe that contraceptive is haram. I don't know wether it's true or not, I'll wait for Hyper to confirm

Afeef baan sii dhiganayaaye, waan la socdaa in su'aashu ay Hyper ku socoto
Family planning is allowed... for the right reasons i.e. for the mother and her child's health.
And it is not allowed for the wrong reasons i.e. fear for lack of food/resources (faqri).
And it is not allowed for muslims to use the permanent methods for birth control.
My two cents.

The more the merrier, but within reason and obviously this is up to the missus.
Re: Somali Women Fertility rate
That's the thing. I think what is said in the Quran is missunderstood by many Somalis and many believe is haram, I've heard Somali woman discussing this many times..gegiroor wrote:AirBitaale wrote:Afeef baan sii dhiganayaaye, waan la socdaa in su'aashu ay Hyper ku socoto

What a blissful marriage. Teasing each other is fine as long as it's just ciyaar, no one wants a boring marriage.
Your hubby is a lucky man and you're lucky to have him.
