Confirm it guys. Turkish Airlines in Hrg? Picture

Post by AwRastaale »

I personally don't care if they came or not. I have no intensions to use it but would be easier to fly from Melb to Hrg without changing flights.

My option were Melb-Dubai with Royal Brunei then FlyDubai.

Or Brunei to Singapore then Ethiopian to Addis. Little bit expensive but I don't mind our hot girls

Anyways confirm this...they claiming the first flight landed yesterday.

Turkish airways is very popular in Europe, and they are bit cheaper than Ethiopian airlines.

Mandhoow hold your horses until we have full and acurate report. Reer Kebab Xamar ee darbi aroos la gashay nooh...as far as I know eebow it's kebab, cambuulo and lots of niiko.

If reer Kebab land in Naaso Hablood my fams' 30 or so plots will double in months as they sit 10 minutes from the airport. As Egal expands and lands more jets so does land price.

Xamar inay arooska kula jirto wa wacan thy then les ma so fiirinayo camal nooh :whoo:

Aishah not really. Hargeisa runway is longer (3.9km) than Mogadishu's runway (3.6km) actually. Ethiopian and FlyDubai already land jetlines.

ET actually landed before the extra length was added, which finished a week before FlyDubai arrived.

At the moment FlyDubai operates Boeing 737-800 (Next Generation 737) in its Hargeisa route. This airline overall length is 42 meters. That is tail to nose.

http://www.boeing.com/commercial/custom ... ai/#/737ng

To takeoff it requires at least 2km runway or 6,562 ft.

The Turkish Airlines operates Airbus A320 for its Mogadishu route. Its overall length is 37.57 meters.

The required takeoff runway is also minimum 2km or 6,562 ft.

The maximum sitting for Turkish Airlines' A320 is 180 people while FlyDubai can sit 189.

That tells you Hargeisa not only meets requirements but is slowly improving.
