Most Atheists come to reject dogma from a position of reason, using logic and science. Most Muslims on the other hand are born Muslim having been grounded in an Islamic way of thinking from birth as little children and warned about the consequences of disbelief which is eternal ever lasting torment, an incomprehensibly horrible punishment that would make even Hitler seem like a saint in comparison. Its even worse for Muslims born in Islamic countries as their world revolves around an Islamic point of view during their finite lifetime. This of course not just applies to Muslims but also those born into other Abrahamic religions.

A lot of Atheists on the other hand use reason and logic to reject the idea of religion and God, they see no reason to believe in bronze age belief systems which do not make sense despite backlash and even violence perpetuated against them historically and today in some countries. Any objective person would have a lot more respect for an Atheist than those who hold on the nonsensical beliefs of their parents simply because they are not intelligent enough to look at the world for a different prospective.

Remember to say the same thing thing when Muslims belittle Hinduism as they always do on concepts like Ganesha's image, the sacredness of the cow, rats etc or when the concept of the trinity in Christianity is ridiculed.
