Remain is best. A tory government that doesn't have to answer to the European Court of Human Rights?

Knee jerk reaction is Remain. However I want to pay attention to the educated argument for Brexit before making my decision.
The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership between the EU and US for example is a concern. The fact that no one in the UK is talking about it is worrying.

Mach is from the UK?
It's all a big masquerade. There are bigger problems than staying or leaving the EU. The financial problems of the NHS, end of scholarships and bursaries awarded by the NHS and charities, reducing disability benefits and scrapping benefits for poor and vulnerable people, end of social housing and the bigger problem of affordable housing, turning all schools to academies not accountable the state, serious unemployment problems bring masked by zero hours contacts, homelessness and endemic institutional racism & islamophobia, and deep cuts to welfare, state and social funding to reduce the "deficit" of the nation while the elites benefit from offshore tax relief accounts and lower taxes on their multiple properties, with further facilitation of profitably purchasing land, and building, then renting and selling off these homes at extortionate prices. Oh, and to top it all off, the government now prints propaganda booklets on £18 million of our tax payer money? But of course the answer to Britain's ever increasing deficit is further cuts to public funding.
So who cares? What difference does it make, in or out?

you're right on some cases that there are bigger problems and again cameron is using the eu as a diversion on bigger issues such as the nhs, increase in homelessness, housing crisis in london and much more.YummyMummy wrote:Mach is from the UK?

but he is not wrong that brexit could cause financial problems for the uk but he himself brings financial problems. most brexiters want to use different models that are largely unrealistic and wasteful, we should remain but the fact is once the voting is finished and the nhs starts going to the ground, many people would use it as an excuse to blame the migrants or people coming into the uk that is ruining the country and use them as a scapegoat when we all know its the tories
the current demonstrations and protests for cameron to resign are good, corbyn is more desirable than cameron for the first time now and hopefully just hopefully there will be a vote of no confidence to form a new parliament and to bring jeremy corbyn to prime minster corbyn

They estimated that another £9 million will be/had been raised by cameron campaigners privately from businesses backing staying in Europe.soonoqoda wrote:you're right on some cases that there are bigger problems and again cameron is using the eu as a diversion on bigger issues such as the nhs, increase in homelessness, housing crisis in london and much more.YummyMummy wrote:Mach is from the UK?

I don't care for politics tbh. Corbyn won't be any better than cameron, something always gives. I don't desire a system in which I'm being sold different colours of lies to hoodwink me from more creative ways of 'redistributing' my hard earned cash. If you have the audacity to brazenly and obviously steal from me and claim transparency and deficit, don't attempt to insult my intelligence along the way with red herrings.
Re: Black v,yummy,Machiavelli, soo gala
bisinka another £9mil?? no way! the country has been in the hands of tories for such a long time, tony blair was a tory in disguise but corbyn is a true socialist. when i watch him in parliament i share the same pains as he does, jeremy is for usYummyMummy wrote:soonoqoda wrote:you're right on some cases that there are bigger problems and again cameron is using the eu as a diversion on bigger issues such as the nhs, increase in homelessness, housing crisis in london and much more.YummyMummy wrote:Mach is from the UK?

Baasto
Ina Adeer, this is a very complex issue and since joining the E.U, successive British administrations had misgivings about the Union and have objected from the Euro to the Schengen free travel areas and ETC. To put it on simplistic terms, this whole BEXIT Vs Remain is centred on the ideological divide of Sovereignists Vs Federalists. BREXIT are a tad more clearer on their agenda than the Remain group whom are a coalition of cross-parties and big business entities including the PM and close associates in his government, major financial corporations/businesses and both the labour and liberal democrat parties. Cameron has made many welfare and movement restriction changes that will affect Somalis from other EU nations living in Britain to appease the Sovereignists, but will that be enough? Either way the votes goes, non citizen Somalis will be affected because the free movement will be curtailed and welfare payments for non-British citizens stopped. Get your citizenships.
Yummy
Ina Adeer, I'm a Somali and by default, we are all political science graduates. While herding camels and listening to the Somali service of the BBC, My great grandfather knew where Tashkent was, but today, how many well educated Brits or Americans know where Uzbekistan is located? God bless the BBC and now we have VOA and social media. We are a nation of politicians, we have 7 presidents, parliaments and the rest of us are political analysts.
