These people are not fleeing from war, persecution, or starvation; they are simply economic migrants, seeking to reach the shores of Eldorado better known as Western Europe. They knew or should have known the risk involved in embarking on such a perilous journey and yet for whatever reason they chose to ignore it. It is hard to feel sympathy for people ilaahey iimaankii ka qaadey. Anyway, AUN those poor souls.

Do not waste your time trying to convince Somalis. My 20 years old brother has everything that life has to offer in Kenya. Peace, school, food, shelter and Shopping. He has Iphone 5 too. I could not convince him that, he is missing nothing. He still thinks his life is stack and might take a voyage to Libya through South Sudan and Foot for 2 weeks to reach Libya then into the promiseland of luxury and enjoyable life. I careless whether he reaches there or die on the way. They do not listen and they do not care what you say or know. Those kids paid $5000 each to come that boat plus their pocket money. They are not some poor kids running away on foot. They were well off from middle class families who just want to fulfill their dreams. One brought his 8 months pregnant wife and he paid $10,000 for both of them. He could have started a middle level business in Burco with that amount and live happily. He chose not to. So I respect people's decision and I do not regret for them if what they knew catches up with them. Thousands of Somalis drowned in that Water before and they knew their names. That did not detour them. You think some comment in Facebook will detour them?
I know 2 siblings each paid $15 000 from jigjiga to just get to Germany through Turkey. I know them, they lived in villas with 2 oromo maids!! majority who go that risky road are not the poor ones. now they act online like they got to Jannah. girl who was wearing jalbab back in jigjiga, now wearing cardigans with so much make up. like rer magaal ya'ani.lol

They don't know the true reality that Africa is by far greater and much more stress free. They are brainwashed and will do anything to reach these countries, its these damn media outlets and internet that I blame for the death of these people, and dumb diaspora who flash their apparel to the poor when they reach back home.

These people aren't poor, relatively speaking. They aren't hungry, dying of disease and malnutition. They aren't being tortured, humiliated and killed in their land. They aren't political dissidents or ethnic minorities. They are seeking the golden palaces and rivers of milk and honey that is 'the West'. They are poor wretches who have decided that their lives are cheaper than the IPhones and flat-screen TVs they seek in welfare paradise.

I am not a hypocrite, as I had little choice in my coming to Europe, but I sure as hell don't have any sympathy for a group of people who have spent tens of thousands of dollars to drown in the Mediterranean or have their body-organs removed by arab bandits. Give a Bengali or Afghan that kind of money and they will build a corner shop in their own country.

We are a bakhti people who have failed on every measurable scale and this is what it looks like when you are at the bottom of the totem pole.

Right.

Buufis has gone through the roof nowadays with the increase in social media. People in developing countries probably use FB more than us in the West.

For the first time, they can compare their lives with those abroad on a daily basis.

Very sad state of affairs and the diaspora need to tone down the fake flashing of prosperity.

Interesting it takes $15000, I send around $600 a month to a cousin of mine with 12 kids in Wisil, whom live very comfortably from it, if you do the maths after 25 months it comes to 15K, that's more then 2 years and the guy has 12 kids that all go to school and are fed well.

If he and his 12 kids can live of 15K for 2 years and 1 month, what do you think of these single men?

Here is there image AUN, they were graduates no job prospects whatsoever after 26 years of relative peace, serious questions will need to be asked why unemployment rates are at 98%

These old guards and there 60 ministers to manage a 100 million NGO budget, man the fate that awaits these people ones they leave this world, I really don't want to be them.

With that money you can virtually become self sustainable if used correctly, imagine the amount of agriculture you can grow, with just under $1000 we grew our own papaya, veggies, oranges and apples so much of it we ended up giving most of them away and started scaling down using adjusted self sustainable drip irrigation system. Its not rocket science.

The onus is on us to forcibly remove these incompetent blood sucking useless leeches, I cannot believe 26 years of a 200 million NGO budget with relative peace and stability, the mostly anarchic south has a far higher employment rate, utter shame, serious questions need to be asked.

This says much more about the type of human you are than the government of any set region. You are a man corrupted to his core by hate and envy, who won't shy away from using the tragic deaths of people who have had a great misfortune befallen them, inorder to score some cheap points on some irrelevant social forum.

You my friend are sick and I mean that in the most sincere way. It was too much to expect those who's fathers stole and squattered on homes who's victims they chased out, to behave with some semblance of decency. Truly you are sick. May god remove the hate from you soul....
