Hypothetical
Say your brother is killed by another Somali (in the diaspora), the family of the murderer have successfully managed to smuggle him out of the country and you, your family and the authorities don't know his whereabouts. What will you do?
Re: Hypothetical
I would kill 2 of his family members (the ones that were responsible for getting him out of the country) than turn myself in to the authorities.
2 for 2.
2 for 2.

Re: Hypothetical
Since the guy has reduced the population of the beesha, his family must help in the increase in number of the Beesha as a compensation ( mag) by giving me his sister in marriage....and then will be forgiven and sabir iyo imaan accepted.
If they refuse the proposition then then the Mujaahideen of the Beesha will carry out a Shock and ore operations on their villages.

Hire a private investigator to track the perpetrator down till the ends of the earth, then have him executed post haste.

Interesting different approaches. Mine is similar to that of Hyperactive.

Ina Adeer, does it make any difference if the murderer is from your subclan? Don't you think that your proposal isn't fair to women because they have to be exchanged for a criminal act?

Having that on his conscious is punishment enough,he probably would never have a peaceful sleep.I wouldnt actively worry about.

Re: Hypothetical
This reminded me of a Somali dude who killed his wife Dexter style in Canada. He chopped her remains and and buried it. His wife hailed from the same jufo as him, so when the families sat down together, the wife's family didn't ask for his head or demand justice for their daughter, they merely said " Allah will punish him" and left it at that. The dude is married now, and actually runs a clinic in Somalia. I cringed when I heard this story.
Karma will catch up to him one day.
Now, what I would do? I would look for the murderer and make sure he pays for his crime.

Re: Hypothetical
You can only deal with the criminal if you get hold of him.
