they deserve it. on the airplane before landing on malaysia they will tell you drug trafficking is punished by death sentence.

It is caltural issues,khat is celebrated in somalila/somaliland and even youth are encouraged to chew which gives the impression it is legal in other countries thus the uninformed somali youth end up receiving the worst punishment -death- for khat smuggling or even carrying.

khat is not a generic drug tho! is it? Why would they go there anyway? Walaahi this just proves we do not hold our destiny. Allaah swa knowing

Malaysia is a education destination for somalis even though Pakistan is better in terms of education.
