Democracy in a poor, third world country with so many potential? No way. We all know that the current government is heavily influenced by external influences, but why make it worse by insisting on democracy? The possibility of corruption is simply too high on this one because instead of dictatorship, it gives voters an illusion that their votes are actually worth something, decreasing the chances of uprising by an order of magnitude, if not more.
Mark my words, whoever is elected in next election will be very pro-western just as HSM was, probably even more so. You guys and gals will see very little difference between that guy and HSM.

You are 100% on the money, speaking of money who ever pays it makes the rules, and if am not mistaken the west is bank rolling this Somalia project from top to bottom.
So like you said,nothing will change in the form of policy Except for the qabiils of the mps/servants, and for most Somalis that's the most important thing.
