Addressing the qabiilists

Post by Raganimo »

I used to visit this forum back in the day. I came back recently, created this account and decided to see how things had changed. To my surprise, they hadn't! Many of the same old faces, same old topics. I last visited this forum in 2006. That's ten years ago. What's shocking is it's like you people have been living in a bubble this whole time, completely disconnected from the rest of the world.

You people are a disgrace. Nothing is sacred to you and everything is free game. The gist of every qabiilist thread is: "My tribe is superior. Your tribe is inferior. Your women are all whores and your men are all cowards.".

The truth is that you're all the same. If you disgrace another tribe, you're disgracing yourself. Politics and history are one thing, but there are certain lines that should never be crossed. For instance, there are a bunch of disgraceful images that are floating around the internet and nobody popularised them except for diseased qabiilists like you who wanted to score a few cheap points in fadhi-ku-dirir. Those same images are used by ajnabis to degrade Somalis in general. "No, but they're daarood/Isaaq/Hawiye" is not going to cut it.

Newsflash: the world does not give a damn about your qabiil or the dusty little tuulo you call home! You're all the same. Our people back home are impoverished and dying in the sea by the thousands.

Teeda kalena, some of you are odayaal who should know better. You should be inspiring our youth to achieve greatness. You should be using your extensive knowledge of history and our beautiful culture in a constructive manner. Wallahi so many of our youth are lost and have turned their backs on their heritage. Seeing how our elders get down on this forum, I don't blame them. I'd be ashamed to be associated with this level of primitiveness!

Wallahi this is a heartfelt plea: get your act together sxbyaal! We desperately need to move on from this foolishness. It benefits no one. Love your tribe, support your country/region, seek justice for your people. But don't foster extreme levels of hate in your heart for someone who was born and raised by a Somali mother just like you. Stop referring to our mothers and sisters as whores. Stop degrading your own people. Being from a certain tribe does not make you "great". You didn't choose your tribe, it's all random. You all have the blood of other tribes flowing through your veins.

Even if we disagree politically, what's stopping us from having civilised discussions? When did using vulgar language, insulting women etc become masculine traits? You guys engage in gossip, use the most vulgar language and debate in the most primitive manner! This needs to change. You're making us all appear like a bunch of primitive lunatics!

Lastly, if you've engaged in this foolishness for 10+ years and still don't see what's wrong with this type of primitive behaviour, then kindly do us all a favour and shoot yourself.

I'm glad I came back to this dump though. At least it reminded me of why I avoid most Somalis like the plague and why I keep a small circle of like-minded friends. It also showed me how far I've come. I'm glad that I felt disgusted by what I saw (from all sides). Most of you have been here for so long that you've become desensitised to this mess.

These people have a mental sickness as deadly as hiv, I and many others fight these people on a daily bases to no avail.

You said something very interesting " you guys live in a bobble" or something to that affect, guess what most of these people have no ambition, no goals in life.

They have no personal or professional life, their whole existence revolves around I am reer hebel, cause if they let the reer hebel act go what is left for them to live for nothing!!!

In real life these people are the losers you brush shoulders with on your way to work, that wear worn out clothes and. Smell of lack of hygiene.

They are the losers you avoid when your chatting with your ajinabi peers in public spaces.

This is the only platform where they actually are taken seriously therefor they milk the situation.

Just go to any successful Somali of any clan and try discussing clan gossip, you will be dismissed before you even finish reer hebel baan ahay.

Thank you for taking your time writing this message

Good message and I agree with you.

I don't exclude myself even tho my thing is mostly to stir but I have no cuqdad for anyone or qabil.

Snet is toxic and the mods and owner is to be blamed for not facilitating civil environment.

This place is super toxic. It will have you despising entire clans based on what you see online. There's no way that you can be around this level of hate and toxicity without being effected by it somehow. Walalayaal people casually joke about genocides, rape etc. This isn't normal human behavior. Some of you have become desensitised to this type of rhetoric, but to an outsider it's very extreme.

And it's a vicious cycle. You stand up for your qabiil because someone else provoked you. Then an innocent reader comes across your post and begins to hate your people etc.. the biggest tragedy is that we're losing an entire generation while we're engaged in this ignorance. In some cases we're even passing it down to innocent kids who weren't even born when all the atrocities took place.

What incognito said is true: it seems like many of these hardcore qabiilists need qabyaalad in order to feel important. Something tells me that these aren't the most productive members of society. Just a hunch..

The lack of moderation on SomNet has always been a problem. Sadly, there's not much that can be done to clean up this place without help from the mods. You basically only have one option: to appeal to people's sensibilities and hope that they respond positively.

In the future, I hope our community evolves to a level where we begin to shun and shame these destructive marfash-dwelling, fadhi-ku-dirir grandmasters.

PS. Just to be clear: politics is important and political debates/discussions definitely do have their place. What goes on in these pages, however, has little to do with politics. It's pure, unadulterated hate. It's basically a bunch of grown men who use this platform to vent out their frustrations and degrade people from their rival clans. Nothing is sacred and everything and everyone is fair game. They show absolutely no restraint whatsoever.

qabiilists people are sad, petty-minded always claiming other men achievements d!ck riding them simply cuz they belong to the same clan their life revolves around clan bragging about history while in real life their qabil has done shit for them nor they did for family.

I believe in business and I know for fact emotions, qabyaald dont have place in it and it will ruin it eventually and thats why you will find most successful somalis being the least qabiilst.

I only believe in positive tribalism where ppl come together and help their community like building roads, digging wells, helping the unfortunate..ect. All in all, I dislike dissing other qabils however I could be a qaraabo difaac sometime :D even tho I choose to neglect insults mostly.

lack of moderation on SomNet ku lahaa!! Ilaahaw nin aan wax ogayn ha cadaabin!

Dude clan bashing is a persistent phenomenon in our society. Markaa It will take time before we see it go away... markaa be patience sxb.
Here in SNet, I decided not to bother clan fadhi ku dirir any more. I just focus to stop those who're dedicated to derail threads. For example, I have temporarily banned some SNet heavyweight this month. In this case Dr.Yalaxaw and Games. Every new thread thrown in Somaliland section the original discussion is unable to continue because of these two dude who deliberately derail and kill the topics. Waxaad arkaysaa 20 kale oo usoo jawaabaya oo personally caayaya Dr. Yalaxaw....ilaa xitaa waalidkii. Waxaad arkaysaa page 8 or 9 Yalaxaw vs 20 usoo jawaabaya and the poor author who posted the original thread hanging around helpless.

You two really need to reflect and think about this. You lot are some of the nastiest individuals on this site.

You might not take it serious or just do it to have fun but it is serious and horrible.

You banned Dr Yalaxow because he derails SL threads, what about that insolent Guban and mahoka that do the same on Somalia related threads? What about Big Break whom insults members' moms?

How convenient do ban those against SL. Excellent job.

Here is the problem bro. I don't open most of the topics. I just wait some one to report. I can guarantee you if you click report and you see they're violating the SNet policy I will ban them as well.

Snet is toxic shit hole, no one is 100% objective in their criticism and everyone has an agenda, what is worse is people are very vile and disgusting in the content they choose to put out their into the world wide web, and this damages the Somali image. You cannot sugar coat nonsense.

Do us all a favour Snet, have a few more crashes, lose more members, and please cease to exist.
