Maashallah Ahmed, though we haven't contributed anything to your success, you make everyone of us proud. I hope the Somali communities should utilise such young men and women speak to younger children in primary schools to motivate them.

19 prime ministers were educated at Eton and it is the school of choice for the aristocracy.
MashaAllah

Cherine sister, is the young man in the story your son? If he is, maasha'Allah, well-done to you, the young man, and his father as well. :dj:

"Ahmed Roble, 15, will soon swap his south London state school — and home close to the Angell Town estate — for the £37,000-per-year boarding school.

He is the only boy from London, and one of only nine nationwide, to win a full two-year scholarship to Eton’s sixth-form this year under a scheme offering places for state school pupils.

Ahmed was born in Holland and moved to London as a five-year-old. He said his father Mahdi left Somalia “for a better life” before war broke out, forcing his mother Layla Burale to flee"
"

 Mashalaah. Congratulations. He has a bright future. Imagine mingling with all those fair skinned offspring's of the blue stocking aristocratic breeds! :o

He will be sitting in class with a young Lord Spencer, a Viscount Duncannon, or a Marquis of Hartington, while he --the boy is nothing but a child of an Abgaal father judging by the name "Mahdi", and the boys last name "Rooble"! He has a fine set of shiny soft sri lanka hair, no doubt his mother is darood, specifically warsangeli! Mashaalaah to the child! :eat:
