The Awakening of the Gondar lions
Gondar ruled Ethiopia for the majority of the 2000 years of Agew/Amhara dynasties along with its adjacent sister-region Wollo/Lasta. As the descendants of the Zagwe dynasty all the way to the Fasilides dynasty before the throne was stolen from them by the British secret agent of Tigray (Kassa Mercha). Kassa, later Emperor Yohannes IV, was himself appointed as the ruler/governor of Tigray by an Agew conqueror after he overran Tigray.
They are always hungry for rule and their throne as the historical rulers of Ethiopia.

Oromo need to take notes from them. I'm hearing the TPLF is gunning down Oromo youth left, right and center but they are too afraid to even fire single bullet in Gonder because of the Gonderi unity. TPLF only manipulates and finds individuals to use against their own people.
Gonder is even openly flying their preferred flag without the TPLF star and blue circle.

This massive uprising is not only Amhara but at the very center of it all are the Agew warriors. The Agews naturally break into several groups including Bilen (mostly in Eritrea), Kamyr/Himra (Wollo/Sekota/Wag/Lasta) and the Qemant/Kemant (Gonder especially the Tigrai looted Wolkait and Gondar city itself).
You can hear them shout Amhara and Qemant in this video

gonder is where white man looking king was from tewordes. but i think shewan amhara are more libaax
Re: The Awakening of the Gondar lions
I don't know why Khalid and Awrastaale like the amahara, they might of historically dominated the region but are u guys forgetting history? It's their elitist attitude and oppression that lead the Tigray to revolt. The TPLF introduced the current federal system (ethnic recognition) while the Amhara imposed their language and culture on all their subjects. I prefer the current ruling party (even though they are still cadow) to the return of the Amhara.
Re: The Awakening of the Gondar lions
I'm down with tigray at least they got some muslims in them and they understand the barrel of the gun we can work with them they just want to oppress the rest of xabashi and others that's all.

Re: The Awakening of the Gondar lions
The Shoa Amhara are much respected fighters but when it comes to Ethiopian history and battles won-------it was always delivered one way or another by the Gonderis and the Wolloye regardless of their ethnicity.
The greatest Shoa ruler was Menelik II and himself was both inspired (by Tewodros of Gonder), mould and delivered (freed by Oromo) by the Wollo warriors.
Even in the battle of Adwa, 70% of the fighters came from Gondar under two commands (Ras Wale of the Yejju Oromo, Ras Gebeyehu and Wollo (under Ras Ali Mikael/Mohammed).
The only battalion Menelik had from Shoa was that headed by the Oromo warrior Ras Balcha Aba Safo. Much of this army was built under the Shoan Oromo warrior Ras Gobena who helped Menelik to expand south.
It was in the end the Oromo who truly defeated the Italian army. In all forces, Oromo led three major battalions who in the end surroundered the Italians; that of Ras Wale (Yejju Oromo like Haile Selassie, Lij Iyasu/eliyas), Ras Ali of Wollo who had the largest army and even freed Menelik prevously with the help of the Oromo queen Worqitu, and of course Ras Balcha Aba Safo.
Really Shoa Amhara cannot name more than two names when it comes to battles and even Menelik was not full Amhara nor was his family. In the end he relinquished his power to the hands of his Oromo courtesy of his grandson Lij Iyasu of the Yejju Oromo before his wife took it away and gave to Ras Tafari----another Oromo (Haile Selassie).
That chapter of Ethiopia is more Oromo than Amhara.
It's about time Gonder and Wollo returned to power.

Eebow Amxaar waa ii Amxaar
Re: The Awakening of the Gondar lions
The Agaws are extremely small in number and have little significance militarily and politically.
The imperialist Amhara are even worse for Somalis than Tigray.
These niggas still dream about recreating the Abyssinian empire and they even claim Awdal all the way to Berbera (I've heard this myself from a nationalist). You are delusional if you believe otherwise.
AwRastaale is a funny guy. He despises ethnic Somalis from certain clans and loves Amharas
Something ain't right about that..

Raganimo,
Abti buuq badniida. ila hadal miya?
I don't despise no Somali nor any African from the Horn.
I do disagree with many issues with many individuals from such and such ethnics/tribes.
I understand many Somalis don't know the difference between opinions, information and emotions.
I don't need to love or hate anyone to know something about them.
Many of my good friends are Amhara, Tigrais, Oromo, Somalis, Eritreans.
Ethiopian history is always interesting by the way. Get over your insecurities.
As for the Agews, yes indeed they are small in population but throughout Ethiopia's long history they always punched above their own weight. They not only ruled almost 400 years uninterrupted but they ruled on and off for further 900 years with Amhara and later Oromo.
What does that tell you about them?
Even this very uprise is not only led by Qemant Agews but they started courtesy of their Wolkayit community and Col. Demeke Zewdu (leader of Wolkayit Committee).

Re: The Awakening of the Gondar lions
I have noticed the Tigre have a soft spot for the Axmara as they continue to baby sit these "uprisings". While the Oromo are "mawed" down with bullets by special forces mainly consisting of Woyane, the Axmara are allowed to congregate and demonstrate.
Just the other day near Harar several Oromo civilians were massacred while protesting majority of whom were Muslims.

Amhara only good for business but when it comes to politics they are washed up.

It's a fact. Tigray are almost exclusively Christian.GubanOgoHawdJSL wrote:Where at in lasqoray?Raganimo wrote:Amhara have more Muslims than Tigray.GubanOgoHawdJSL wrote:I'm down with tigray at least they got some muslims in them and they understand the barrel of the gun we can work with them they just want to oppress the rest of xabashi and others that's all.
