*user* funny that you call me ignorant when in fact it is you who label a people only through the limited knowledge you acquired through the beardos academy. Listen here punk , everybody in America does not support Bush and all the republicans are not all Bush's nephews
Unlike you I am where I am because I like it , and if i didn't like the US I wouldn't live here , fu.ckin'parasite . Now tell me you hollerin' from south waziristan and you'll earn my respect.

The world has a love-hate relationship with America and Americans. On the one side, America represents personal liberty that many people crave. And, contrary to popular opinion on this site, if you are hard working and reasonably intelligent, in America you can make good and get ahead so your kids have it better than you did. Also, it is possible to become a true American. How can someone become a Somali or a German? US identity is not tied to ethnicity, which makes it at least somewhat unique. On the other hand, esspecially during the cold war, America had to work with some pretty unsavory types, and was compelled to interfere in the internal politics of some countries far more than would be preferred. This has fired popular imagination in the world to the degree that now, America is often perceived as the unseen hand behind everything bad that happens. Lastly, as the worlds last remaining superpower, it has unparalleled power and uses it, which is often resented.

'why do people hate america' - by merryl wyn davis and zuidini sardar.
the book mentioned above was written around 2001/2, and it tries to anwer this question.
its actually really interesting and some where in the middle it actually gives a list of the number of invasions-aka- 'freedom advancing' missions the u.s.a has undertaken in the last hundred years or so.
you would be surprised.......... theres hardly a country that hasn't experienced american interference.

Ill Seed
That is true, BUT American "intereference" has also been altruisitc at times. Such as our "intereference" in France in 1944, or our "intereference" in Germany in 1945 or our "interference" in South Korea in 1950. Then there was the "Intereference" of the Marshal Plan. We had the "Interference" in China prior to and during World War II. There has been all sorts of food aide, montary aide, etc. etc. Then, of course, there was the huge "interference" of the cold war which kept the world free from communist/facist Soviet aggression. You get the picture. All of the "interference" was not negative.

Re: why do people hate America?
is it because they control the world?
is because they have nuclear weopons and are constantly renewing and making new ones, and have chemical weaopons (like anthrax) and dont allow the rest of the worl (like Iraq and Iran) to even have the smalles kind of nuke in their country.
is it becuase they have their nuclear weapons aiming at six countries in the world, (iran, iraq, russia, syria, palestine, and some others).
why do you think?
Everything was all good until Bush got in office.
