Besides the stupid "no racism before Obama comment" Yes a lot of communities , Asians, Indians, Africans including a lot of Somalis all believe that African Americans are lazy criminals that refuse to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and work hard.

African Americans have been handicapped. Through a regime of institutional racism, state-sponsored programmes to prevent them from advancing and media indoctrination (hip-hop, basketball...etc) they have been led to believe that they are entitled to handouts, as a warped form of compensation for the historical enslavement they went through.
