He came back about 18 months later dying of aids.....some folk believe it was because his father put a curse upon him. :)
This practice of cursing ones children is painfully prevalent among Somalis, perhaps if he had said may Allah guide my son it would have been better. Imagine destroying or undermining the life of your offspring because of a few camels.

It could also simply have been Gods punishment for the act of the sin without the involvement of the fathers curse

and why does Puntland have 1/3 of Somalilands hiv numbers i thought eating kaluun increases sex hormones.

The recent round of HIV estimates approximates the number of people living with HIV in 2014 at approximately 35,000 and increasing with an HIV prevalence (15-49 years) of 0.55%.

In 2014, the population of adult PLHIV in Somaliland is estimated at 9,531,
South Central at 16,363 and
Puntland at 3,832.

Sorry to rain your, 'your tuulo has more HIV than my tuulo' parade, but respectively means in-turn. Puntland does not have 1/3 of Somaliland's HIV numbers, Puntland has double the HIV rate of South Central

The most recent (2014) rounds of Ante Natal Care (ANC) sentinel surveillance found mean HIV
prevalence rates of 0.67% in Somaliland and 0.49% and 0.22% in Puntland and South Central
respectively.

if that was true why is Somaliland struggling with AIDS now when war has not occured for over 20 years... if your theory was true then Somaliland would have experienced increase in aids in the late 90's
