Alhamdulliah I've never had horrible bosses
Re: Do you hate your boss?
I don't have a boss, I am my own boss.
Alxamdulilah, self employed is the way forward.

My boss is, surprisingly a gentleman. Very respectful, non-demanding, easy-going, highly intelligent and always admiring of my work and brains. He always says I don't give myself enough credit!. I doubt most bosses are that appreciative. That just means it's downhill from here

Re: Do you hate your boss?
I have had many bosses over the years but the last two including the current one are okay. We don't see each other often unless there is something I can not solve myself financially and needs a signature because the pay I have to make exceeds my work issued credit card as an example. My current boss is happy if he doesn't deal with you at all including your meaningless greetings or conversations that indicate to him you are more of a sycophant than confident worker. He doesn't even like employee meetings unless it is really important. I advised newbies to keep their distance as I have heard him complain in the occasional meetings that he likes not to be bothered in his office and people should make their own decisions. You can't ask for better than that I think as my personal attitude is to not bother anyone with unnecessary talk and keep my distance. The less afkooda uraaya igu ag furaan, the better my day. Most Americans are devoid of anything useful when it comes to ideas anyways, so less talk and interaction is pristine.

I cracked up reading your glowing comments about your boss and wondered about something. Now, speaking my mind gets me into trouble a lot as I have no filter sometimes and would follow my instincts in speaking my mind.
If you are a female, I think it is an indication that your boss might want you in his bed. The admiration of your brain is the give away. And if you are a guy, I would be wary of him. Doesn't sound good either way. Something fishy about a boss who is that generous in positive feedback.
Being a male myself though and having perspective on this matter, I would sure praise a female I admire out of her socks for my interest.
Re: Do you hate your boss?
I knew someone might think this. To be fair, he is considered by colleagues to be fairly eccentric (for instance no interest in others personal lives, maybe mild aspergers) but with a very high IQ. In any case, I had no doubt there were any ill intentions behind his positive feedback because of the respectful distance he kept: no gazing,no personal questions not even staying in the same room for no good reason. As females, we can pick up signals better. There weren't any. But you're right, the average man overlooks the brains and would praise a woman only for their physical benefit, which is a shame. More of you should be like this manWorstCaseScenaRio wrote:Macarons wrote:My boss is, surprisingly a gentleman.
