Real life mimics Somalinet - Waloweyn Cuqdad cuts deep.
It is really funny but Somalinet is a microcosm of how Somalis behave in real life. Case in point, when Abdirazaq Atosh was reporting from Somaliland on May 18 he got so much hate from those from Somalia it was unreal. Today he posted the following translated in English:
"As soon as you enter the City of Hargeisa, the first thing you feel is a sense of true safety and ease. It is something to Praise Allah. May Allah keep this country & its people safe."
https://www.facebook.com/AbdirizakHAtos ... =3&theater
What happens? You'd think people would like his comment say Alhamudlilah and it would pass, but no there are almost 1,100 comments and most of them are negative.
These waloweyn are so riddled with cuqdad they can't even stomach a nice word about Hargeisa.
May Allah keep Somaliland safe from their evil eye. Allahuma AAmiin

That's nothing new. Wanlawein is the eternal enemy after Satan if not equal.
So their comments do not surprise me nor do I see it as "lone wolves".
The good news is today we only share the Somali shirt and nothing more.
Who is this Atosh btw and why does a Wanlawein like him matter or what he thinks?

Awrastaale if you who don't know Atosh he works for the BBC. Normally the BBC coverage of Somaliland is baised but last year he reported live from Hargeisa and did a decent enough coverage. The woloweyn hated the fact of seeing the Somaliland flag everywhere on the BBC website. Today he put the above post on his FB page which garnered a thousand plus comments mostly negative.
Khalid Ali, the difference between Hiiraan Online and the facebook page is because Hiiraan Online also has anonymous postings. Usually the worst comments come from those that are anonymous. I do agree though regardless where it is, face book, in person or anonymous online they wish Somaliland ill will every breath they take.

Who cares man let them hate, we got more pressing issues to deal with than some angry Koonfurians venting on social media

Suldaan, I'm sure we got a million things we should deal with, but one thing we can't change is the chasm between Somalia and Somaliland. It is just not a political issue, but also cultural and social issue. We need to understand this and take the necessary steps, be it to BUILD A WALL AND MAKE SOMALIA PAY FOR IT! LOL

I'm sure the vast majority of us are aware of the deep enmity coming from reer Somalia. What I'm saying is that instead of getting upset about every instance that they show their true colours, we should just ignore them and keep doing our thaaang

What's there to hate about Somali land, another gaajo state among the many gaajo states in Somalia. Only in Somalia baa my city is more peaceful than yours lagu faana, for the majority of the world, peace and security is a given.
