Yup, I did not support Siilaanyo's decision to split the Presidential and Parliamentary elections on two separate dates.
But, now, I do support it. The sole reason is that, the so called International Community need to understand that they won't allowed to pull strings on our political independence. I support the president for the telling the donor community that they can keep their money if they want and shove it where the sun never shines. We do not need their money if it has strings attached to it.
Somaliland will fund the Parliamentary elections itself. That is right, we will pay for it every single cent.
Good on ya old man. Very good move.
I support Siilaanyo's decision...

Re: I support Siilaanyo's decision...
Ths is how i see it.
Who benefits from this?
The answer are the politicians. Those useless xaar politicians who are on monthly salaries. Some of them are scared they will lose their jobs. So pretty much jeebka ayay buuxsanayaan.
In my opinion we have theifs running the country, dhamaan tood from parliament to president. If not why not respect the people and hold elections based on the laws of the country
