"Ethiopian Restaurant" on Jigjiga road across from Shaybe hotel - hands down fav since they never disappoint, good price and always a good change in pallet from all this bland HGA food

Al Bayk - new chicken spot on xeer awr across from Nannies gym (go figure) but best fried chicken I've had in this damn place

There's this family restaurant on the main road (in front of Guled hotel & buildings) towards jig jiga yar, and it's alright but I once took home casho safari and there was a barambaro in the bag. Never went back.

Theres a dessert place that makes fraps with ice cream, whipped cream and mmmmm so nice - building at the corner of Jig jiga yar and xeer awr, on like the second floor = best milkshakes and frapps I've had while here

Cafe Berbera = over priced and way too sweet, the cheesecake is good to share one slice with like 3 friends lol but the food is good

Hamdi restaurant in Dahabshil building = BEST DINNER I HAD IN HARGEISA (however also the most expensive meal)

The restaurant ontop of Deero mall = meh, good price, the food was good but nothing to write in caps

Al Yemeni - I posted pics of food from there long ago lol and it use to be amazing but it's kind of lame now. Kebab was overcooked and flavourLESS, and the bariis was just sad. I pick up kimiis from there though, that can be eaten on its own, its so good. They opened a location on jigjiga yar so I will check it out and come back sometime.

Royal Lounge and Summertime are both shiiiite now when it comes to customer service. But when the food finally comes out (if you got the correct order) then your anger goes away .

That's all I can remember for now.

The food was too salty but I luv the decor

Rude customer service from the females that serve there.. I lost my slip while I was too busy causing a riot with the hass lot up the rd .. Came to collect the food no slip all hell broke loose.. There chicken is alright for HRG but nothing on KFC

Yes, you're right, I always need a bottle or two of water. But its my favorite HGA indulgence, high bp and all haha

Maybe they changed lol they were really sweet young ladies and they brought the food to my table so that was a plus. It's definitely not close to KFC but would you compare any food here from abroad?

huh? I forget the name of the place lol
Oh yea Hido Dhowr - Regular Somali food, but made reallllly well! The maraq had dead flies, and I had to remember I'm not an average qurbo so I just picked them out and continued drinking..Maybe it was the bug juice - I kid - but it was really well made otherwise   ...bariis and fried fish were drool...probably best Somali food from a restaurant I've had in Hargeisa. Excluding other cities of course.

:mindblown: I watched that Turkish travel show that visited Somaliland , and he was eating in this Somaliland restaurant , my god , there was bones on the floor , rice, salad and everything all over the floor and table. The guy was sweeping mutton and goat bones from the floor.

You are not missing much. They charged me $10 for a medium sized pizza, two cakes(one for my friend) and drinks. Not bad I guess.
