Make the Somali peninsula great again!

Post by Futurist »

For far too long we have had weak Somali leaders that pander to foreign interests. We need a strong Somali leader who will make the Somali Peninsula great again, who will put Somalis first. He or she needs to be nationalist, socially conservative and economicically left wing.

This means:

* Kicking out interloping, self serving foreign troops and aid organisations.
* Building a small, effective, well trained, decently equipped Somali military.
* Banning Somali political leaders from visiting foreign countries without approval e.g. Ethiopia and Nairobi.
* Firing Somali MPs who do not spend at least 300 days out of 365 days a year in Somali/SL/PL.
* Making large Somali corporations pay their fair share of taxes - prosecute and imprison CEOs that refuse to play ball.
* Impose a diaspora tax of $100 per adult visitor and foreigners tax of $200 per visitor (especially foreign troops and NGO personnell.
* Strong controls on imports, focusing on import substitution. Intervene where there are monopolies and cartels.
* Ban the use of foreign currency and controlling dollar exchange rates and circulation.
* Invest in job creating industries throughout the regions.
* Reform and make more effective and efficient the public services.
* Set out clearly the roles, responsibilites and powers of government agencies, as well as local regional and national government.
* Reducing illegal immigration from Ethiopia, especially in the northern regions, by controlling strictly the North Western (Awdal-Ethiopia) border. Fining illegal Ethiopian immigrants and criminals $200 per person and confiscating any valuables as property of the state.
* Banning shop fronts and public signs in non Somali languages e.g. Arabic, English etc. Set guidelines for use of English in public TV & Radio programmes.
*Promote Somali culture and history in schools, universities, TV, Radio, prisons.
*Nationalise key industries where it makes sense to do so. Nationalise all universities.

Make the Somali peninsula great again. Put Somalis first. Take back control of our borders, our economy and our security. :dj: :stylin:

This is a major key. Any politician who talks publicly about qabil, or in media, or who holds or attends qabil meetings will be fined twice and then imprisoned for 1 month if it happens again. 3 strike policy.

Qabil representation will be through the Senate (Aqalga Guurtida) and therefore there should be no other qabil meetings in the society. Anyone who has grievances can come to the Senator or their MP surgery to complain and their views should then be represented in the Parliament or Senate.

Public will be discouraged strongly from qabil through media, information provision, schools etc.

Media will also be issued strict guidelines for talking about qabiil or beesha bariga magaaldaas iyo beesha galbeedka halkaas.

Somali theatres in every major city will be built - even if only an open air theatre. To promore Somali music, poetry, culture etc.

Qad will be heavily taxed to be made unaffordable. It should also be grown in the mountainous regions of Awdal and Sanaag to replace imports in the short term.

Those first few were addressed by Farmaajo in his only year in government. He was thrown out of government because the criminals in FG didn't like progress. He exposed the extent of the corruption, even pointing out that these aid agencies and Amisom were creating fake projects to siphon of money. He put a system in place that was used to pay soldiers reguarly, he even paid them an agreed amount of months pay after settling the dispute about salaries. This is no longer existant thanks to the FG. He also put measures in place to stop corruption, this included having all vehicles registered and not allowing government officials to go on unapproved overseas trips. He saw that the money and government assets would not be plundered. Thanks to Sheikh Shariif and HSM we have regressed after we had finally made progress.

Nice list though. It's spot on.

Nice list. Completely and utterly unrealistic though. You will find that even sheep are more logical and patriotic than Somalis.
