I benefitted immensely from your contribution in this field. It's interesting to realise that the Dir and it's subsets are an Ummah distinct from others, we are subject of scientific study from North America to Australasia. I, initially assumed, perhaps ignorantly that we would be related to the Oromos. But they are E-V32 just like the other Kunta Kinte's which I found quite interesting.

From what I know it was a market research company somewhat affiliated to Ancestry that was offering it to ethnic minorities for a prescribed period. Most of their customers were mainly Caucasians.

No one can yet state with absolute certainity that T haplogroup is the genetic marker of the Dir clan.

It is all up in the air until more subclans are tested, hence why I always emphasise that I am hypothesising.
