Isaq cannot rule themselves they elites take advantage of there own people. That's why there citizens come to Bosaso to work as maids, mechanic or just beg for money on the street. Shame on you somaliland rulers for slaving your own citizens that way. This what happens when u create a new currency for a region of Somalia that will never be accepted to become a country. 25 years of Slavery and still no Progress for the ordinary people that live there. So sad! Look at the average person in Puntland they not in any way or form traveling to Somaliland for work or etc. Yes Somalia is a poor country as a whole but you guys are truly the poorest of all. A place that 1% of the population control every revenue of the state. It's shamefull. You will never fine a price of tea to be $3 In anywhere in Somalia right now. I challenge anyone to travel to Somaliland for a week and see how life for the people is and go back where u from in Somalia and compare. Then tell me if I am lying.

Darod talking about not being able to rule themselves when half of them are begging in hargeisa and the other half in Mogadishu. Darod don't have a single big businessman so that is all you need to know

A mooryan Hutu ladies and gents. The people who let African soliders fuck their women for $5 and some apples. The people who burn grandmothers in a bid to steal their lands.GalliumerianSlayer wrote:Idoors are scum, just like the MJ people. Constantly stabbing their somali brethren's in the back and helping the colonialists, those who helped the Europeans against their own somali people? May allah punish them.
A Hutu talking their "Somali brothers" is like a prostitute talking about her dignity and worth

The Law between Somali and Somaliland has to be broken by the government. Governments aren't just granted independence, they usually are given it. Like when Cumar Bashir let South Sudan go, or when Eritrea helped their brother get to power in 91 who then allowed Eritrean independence. Somaliland should have lobbied for their independence before with the Hawiye, they are so corrupt they would have allowed it for a sum. Perhaps they still can today?

Why should Somaliland seek anything from Italian somalia? Italian somalia was part of the somali republic not the somali republic itself it's no different then Somaliland so why should one region seek recognition from the other as though one was a province of the other?

No, its not all talk. A union is when two 'equal' partners join together. What happened in 1960's wasn't an equal union. And you are not equal to Somalia. You are one of many 'Gobol Maamuleeds' that exists in Somalia now.

Good article about this topic read
http://caasimadda.com/caqliga-reer-koon ... waqooyiga/
When our brothers of waqooyi came for Union they met Aaden Cade and when he realized they have no shuruudo laws to protect thier rights and just came for unionist caadifad Qiiro mood he told them to go back and came back with written laws and sharuudo for the Union so they get a fair deal. Aaden Cade knowing the amount of clan and corruption on the south he wanted them to get fair deal but they misunderstood him and thought he is against Union and they pass by him, what happened was exactly what he warned instead of getting fair share they been given law rank positions and the government was elected.
Let's blaim 1960 our reer waqooyi Unionist caadifad mood for that. There was no law agreed because of caadifad.

If Somalis wish to unite for a common cause I don't see the need to go to court and enter into a marriage agreement.
Things such as material wealth, resources and rewards should be agreed on but if God made them equal and belong to the same race and religion, one does not need any law. The Almighty has already made you to be born from the same mother.
No law can ever be greater than that of the Almighty who made you the offspring of one father. Sibling rivalry does not necessarily mean the family needs a written contract in order to conduct their family duty and survive one more day in this harsh world.
Somalis are not law people. Even they don't follow the laws of the Quran let alone something two tribal chiefs conveyed with the help of some foreign agent.
Some of you guys make it sound like some union took place between Dinka and Berbers. For God sake it was just two brotherly Somalis who fell across two artificial colonial borders. Nothing more to it.

hawdian how does that make any sense 2 states made an agreement to unite and the basis of that agreement was to find the other 3. this is a fact god made us lingistic cousins with the walanweyns they are not any closer to us than those in Kenya so your argument that it was just brothers who choose to unite. well if we chòose to unite we also have the choice to withdraw and thats why the law of the union is so important. walanweyns are gunent try always to say that somaliland had no distinct history than them and they even sell the fake dream that there was a somaliweyn before italians and French and English
