Well, the rumors can turn out to be true sometimes and today we have a definitive answer as to shall complete for the speaker post. its 4 and the two that are evident are Jawari and xidig the others (no clue). Interestingly, farax c/qadiir is competing with the ku-xigeenga 1aad along with jaylani.

I thought that he might compete with the speaker's post, ( Somalis are savages they can't let the beesha banadir have the ku-xigeenga 1aad ) the time of submission of the candidates tells a lot of these folks.

farax now, while judging the situation and the political climate decided at the last minute to run for ku-xigeenga. whats the odds of him winning this post and indirectly having a large clout over parliament and MPs, while not facing the heat the speaker position entails and hoovering up more influence in the process. :lupe:

so, could you guys share the players playing the game in the shadows and not running for post directly, but have undue influence and the processes, by which they ascended to their informal positions as brokers and facilitators.

Xidig chances are starting to evaporate, he has no support in J/land, in fact those coming out for him were arrested, his only support are Shariif Sakiin and Galmudug, I have no idea why Madoobe is against it, maybe he knows more then us.

I know sheikh shariif camp is also definitely against this, so is HSM and they see any such changes as destabilising the status quo, his chances are evaporating very fast now.

Abgaal has also now come out against this, not looking good at the moment, "he is a Ethiopian" agent slurs is scaring everyone else off, even though today we are on the same side fighting UAE Hyena's.

So P/land, significant DIR portion, Benadir, J/land will go against Xidig, he only has 3/4 of Galmudug and the entire South-West, about 100 or so, Jawaari will easily beat that, I don't Gesey Sakiin mole will change much in this.

Madoobe will dictate the PM for his votes, and it looks like CC may stay were he currently is as a PM, they both met UAE together. Whatever little hope Farmaajo had is gone totally now.

Ethiopia wants Shariif Sakiin, Guleed, Xidig trio were as Turkey-Qatar pushing for Sheikh Shariif, -unknown, Jawaari trio, UAE is all over the place at the moment meeting everybody, it's a mercy that these people are so stupid.

Interesting thread all am hoping for is seeing Sheikh Sharif Ahmed as President again. Iam quite happy also to see a huge change in him since his studying the past four years has improved his political skills quite well.

The only mistake your having is assuming Sharif Sakin has all Southwest MP support, in fact he doesn't. The way things seems as of now is also that Puntland is going to support XSM. The irony and mess of Somali politics keeps getting juicy by the day LOL.

I also support the Shariif, he is the best for the country by a country mile, on the topic of Sakiin until Jawaari announced he was running last minute, he had the full support, while everyone announced themselves for the speaker post, no D&M did until couple days ago.

That tells me they have split into fractions now, you got to love Somali politics, it's the most entertaining stuff ever, it changes everyday, the most fickle bunch I have ever seen, even the UAE is getting brain hemorrhagic from this, it has summoned everyone to a meeting for the third time now because it's confused

But little does she know, once that meeting is done, the next few days everything has changed again, walahi wa cajiib, this year even Kulimye and wadani are getting involved, contrary to popular opinion, this year they are electing their MP's themselves, no longer handpicked by Xamar

Kulmiye is doing a smart thing by hiding behind HSM (whom they support silently and secretly) despite the damage he has caused them, when he tried to give P/land more seats in the upper house, I was totally shocked by this ineptitude

But here is the funny thing, one Damul Jadiid was telling me back then, it seemed like a crazy theory he told me HSM did this to coax S/land out while sending a threat to them at the same time (Kulmiye), this worked, you saw the expose, you saw them go to the Media you even saw the Isaaq posters on here crying about it.

Kulmiye originally was silently supporting Sheikh Shariif, until the Hawks in that camp came up with the lunatic idea that HSM is better for them, because Sheikh Shariif would make the country better and therefore risk Ictiraaf, the Hawkish camp won out and they are backing HSM as a result (but everything can change last minute)

The whole thing is one amusing circle, when I wrote Wadani met Farmaajo, CC, Sheikh Shariif they laughed made even a topic to mock it, until the first two made the media and now their is damage control, some within wadani camp are slowly starting to attack Kulmiye back for being in HSM pockets even theories of their business man supporting the Houthis rebels to get them against UAE, this is getting crazy, Wadani could not hide as effectively as Kulmiye snakes are in the wanlaweyne politics.

Now there is rumours Guleed was a double agent for HSM all along, since conveniently his alliance with Sakiin collapsed and before that with Sheikh Shariif, you have to love the Damul Jadiid camp, they are the most savvy strategic people I have ever seen infiltrating everywhere, most corrupt also, the circus side show continues.

The way they were able to delay the elections, and it might get delayed again because they are holding up the Somaliland MP selections (conveniently) is a master stroke so is stopping the election from taking place in Xalane which the entire IC was after, HSM is waiting for the change at the UN and America, but the list of enemies are growing, if he pulls this off, I take my hat off to him, at the moment his changes are slim, hence he is pushing for another delay
