Why is there so many MP's with Dual citizenship in Somalia? It's cool for every nacas to have dual citizenship. But government officials should be required to renounce citizenship in another country in order to serve. Holding dual citizenship and being in a position of power creates conflict of interest.

I never understood why we look down on taxi drivers or person who was on government handout in the west holding high government position back home. War happened, people escaped and tried to make an honest living in foreign countries. I actually have high respect for them walahi.

Not surprised most members of the Somalia parliament have dual citizenships, it's pretty much to be expected these days. Heck even some African presidents have dual citizenships. It's quite common than most folks think.
