What is the update on Dr. C/nasir. I hear he is having many mps at his houses in xamar and that he is easily gonna go past first round
Today he released a statement with sh shariif, faroole, and c wali.

He has money but no chance, him and faroole are both in the sheikh shariif coalition, it looks like the final will between two abgaal candidate with sheikh shariif on one side and the UAE abgaal candidate on the other.
I say he has no chance, because if you just look at the sacad votes of 4 in galmudug, qeybdiid (HSM likely to switch shariif), fiqhi (shariif) and the other two one is for CC and the other Jalaf is up for grabs.
no way will he make past the first round, he has nothing at grass root level, he has done what is best and allied with the top horse in the race, the only capable of uniting Somalis.

You have give me better reasons than that. His strategy was never centered on HG and their 20 votes. I know his strategy was to collect OG, MX and Dir votes to get past 1st round.
He has been very successful with OG and MX so far from what I've heard. Dont know about Dir.

No clan will give you any votes if you can't even secure the ones from your own, and besides with all that money, it's a lot easier to bribe your own ones.
The MX vote is mostly going Farmaajo's way, whatever remains Yuulka, O.G is split between Madoobe/Xidig camp, wisdom tells us most will go with Sheikh Shariif if not CC
Even if he was to secure the entire O.G and MX block which is not possible, that's not enough to even rank him in the top 5, never-mind progress to the next round.
Meeting different MP's in houses is something everyone is doing, his alliance with sheikh shariif tells you everything you need to know, he is vying for a cabinet post, what he is doing is just posturing to make himself seem relevant much like Faroole is doing who will bring in more votes.
