So odey Isaaq is T? lol

are there any tests that can show how close your paternal lineage is to someone else?
My Maternal Awoowo AUN was not related to E1b1b sons of HAM :blessed:

Yeah, you can compare your STR markers with other Maareexan or other Darood E-V32 test results to estimate how closely related you are. The more STR's you test the better. Check the following links for a better explanation.

https://www.familytreedna.com/learn/dna-basics/ydna/

The Big Y test is the most comprehensive test when searching for a recent common ancestor, but it is way too expensive at the moment.

How do I do this without retaking a DNA test? I already did the 23&me?
Ask one of the 23andme guys bro. I am not on there but I think it might be possible to download your raw data and obtain STR's from them then you could compare them with Murax's or anyone else of your choosing.

Ben Dover wrote: Thu Jan 26, 2017 12:45 pm I see, thanks for the explanation.

I am getting:

Using 4 populations approximation:
-1 Somali + Somali + Somali + Somali @ 2.182739 (<===== this is returning all Somali but the number is higher than you, should it not be smaller?)

-2 Ethiopian_Oromo + Somali + Somali + Somali @ 2.278302 (<====== Is this the mama Xabuusho gene? :cry: ) :tocry:
You have to understand how these calculators work walaal. They basically try to fit your genome as best as they can with the samples they currently have.So after the Somali + Somali + Somali +Somali result, your second best fit was Oromo + Somali + Somali + Somali because Oromos are our closest relatives. You definitely seem more "pure" then me

As for the pop distance between me and you, these tiny populations distances of less then 1 don't really matter. We are practically identical as fellow Somalis and we will probably all plot on top of each other on PCA plots. We are an extremely inbred ethnic group to say the least :pac:

No that I know of. Highly unlikely to have much divergence within Surres, it ain't like we have a history of assimilating others.

My African breakdown in detail:

Imageupload picture

I have fast-twitch muscle fibers, sprinter. My build is not like Mo Farah short, skinny frame. I am more of a sprinter, 400-meter runner to be exact - tall and lean muscles.

Bro wrote: Thu Jan 26, 2017 5:14 pm Pit Bulls are the most scorned and misunderstood dog breeds in the world. Quite frankly, this breed aren't good guard dogs because they generally love people so much. Their roughhousing playfulness accompanied by people's preconceived judgement is easily mistaken for being aggressive when in all honesty its just a common dog behavior, altho that bully face compasses people to be set on ready!

I agree and yes even dogs get judged by their appearance. Truth be told though the reason why people are scared and are withdrawn about pitbulls is because there are people out their who train and use them as fight dogs. They have injured and killed many humans as fight dogs. Anyways I will take your opinion on board with me since you're a dog owner and have more insight about your dog and it's breed. It's refreshing to read your perspectives and insights.
