There is no such thing as Darood land in Somaliland.
Somaliland = The territory of Isaaq and Samaroon.
The rest are unwanted refugees from Somalia. They should be flushed out.

The people of the Somali Federal Republic will be asked. Majority of the Somali Federal Republic, Daarood, Hawiye, Rahanwein and Dir support the territorial integrity of the Somali Federal Republic. The only Somalis oppose to the Somali Federal Republic are mainly the inhabitants of the towns of Burco, Hargeisa and Berbera located in the far north-western part of the Somali Federal Republic. Majority rules you said? Fine.X.Playa wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 5:58 pm Nobody will ask the opinions of Italian Somalia. Just thats the nature of the beast.

He tried to claim that Somalia and Somaliland were different colonies so should split. He then tried to claim "majority rules" and the ones not wanting to secede are doing this because of tribal hate. Hilarious. Majority rules, so no secession for you. Somaliland is just a state of Somalia. Unless you believe Khatumo shouldn't be included in the secession? Hypocrites.
You cant creat your own rules nor change the goal post once you realize the lose. It don't matter how you cut it Somaliland is no different then any other country in Africa and they wont allow what other countries dont allow and that is the Daarood campign.
And as far as your silly point Italian somalia has no business or saying on how the people of Somaliland run rheir country.
As I said, hypocrisy. You're talking about colonies. No African country is in the predicament of Somalia so that comparison is pointless. As you said, majority rules. Most of Somalia don't want the North to secede. First let Khatuumo out of your mess then you can come to the negotiating table.
Re: Things walaweyn and Faqash say that piss me off.
Am afraid you are fighting for a lost cost. In international law only the people of the territory in question are the members who decide their destiny not some neighoubrinng territory called italian somalia. On Somaliland case only the people of SL will participate in such future referendum and not Italian somalia nor Jabuti.26June1960 wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 6:04 pmThe people of the Somali Federal Republic will be asked. You speak of Italian somalia as though it has anything todo with Somaliland. Wether they like it or not matters little. They are legally irrelevant and historically irrelevant and politically irrelevant.

Even your UAE Port deal had to be bribed its way through by Hassan Sheikh govt to receive approval in the international maritime market.X.Playa wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 5:21 pmRecognition doesn't make you a nation look at your Italian somalia they are recognized as a government on paper what good you got from the West recognition.? One can recognize a corps to be living all he wants but how can he stop it from rotting?grandpakhalif wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 5:17 pm The same British you worship refuse to recognize you and have an embassy in Mogadishu. If the Queen doesnt recognize you, why should we. British SL no longer exista, nor does Italian Somaliland. Both are now internationally recognised as Somalia.
It may be a weak, recovering government but its the official international channel for Somalia including Maamuulka Waqoyi. I hope Cirro is elected President of your mamuul because he has already been in talks with President Farmaajo in January to discuss reengagment with xamar, SL being incuded officially in Federal Somalia and a fair power sharing agreement including moving Somalia airspace control to Hargeisa
This would much more benefit SL state and would allow them to gain access to crucial foreign investment in all sectors of society. Unlike the EMrati robbery of 10% share of Berbera port.
You can preach all you want reality is the government in somalia is an italian somalia government. President prime minister parliaments and all even the bame itself The Republic Of Somalia is naned after Italian Somalia. In reality you yourself italian somalia at last indirectly renounced the somali republic and instead opted for your italian colonial heritage naming yourself italian somalia. To somaliland you are no different then Jabuti.

If you really want to get into specifics, Somaliland is only a state within Somalia. They aren't special and definitely aren't a country. Just one of many states within Somalia. Legally, it isn't a country. Historically, all of Somaliland wasn't united, only parts of it. Politically, they only hold power equal to that of, say, Puntland.X.Playa wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 6:25 pmrandom1234567 wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 6:06 pmX.Playa wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 5:55 pm

Here is the reality you're trying so hard to avoid. The people of the former British Somaliland Protectorate are Daarood, Dir, Hawiye and Madhiban. The Daarood, Hawiye, Dir and Madhiban in the former Italian Somaliland Protectorate are the same people living in the former British Somaliland Protectorate when it comes to tribes. The whole Daarood, Dir, Hawiye and Madhiban tribes of both former Protectorates (now known as Somalia or Somali Federal Republic) will have to speak for either to keep the Somali Federal Republic united or divided into two, three for four Sovereign Nations. When that happens, guess who the minority will be. Yes, you guessed it right, YOU.X.Playa wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 6:24 pmAm afraid you are fighting for a lost cost.
