Somali citizens of neighbouring countries are users and leeches. When Somalia was strong and doing better than its neighbours a lot of them sought Somali citizenship. Now that Somalia fell apart they abuse Somali refugees in these countries since they are higher up in the pecking order by virtue of their citizenship.

They want to have their cake and eat it. A bunch of fairweather friends.

If Somali rises again they should be denied citizenship. They are citizens of another country. Good luck to them.

I agree with the sentiment. It seems like the 77 war was a useless war, if only we could have avoided it all together. 2 million eritreans carried on with their separatists struggles and they were rewarded in the early 90's too bad they currently have an authoritarian repressive regime. The Somalis aren't strategically smart. It's been 40 years since the 77 war when you think about it
