Gaas is not only Pro Ethiopia, but has double dealing with UAE as well, always remember this critical part, what you hear the conflict is about from the regular people or tabloids, compared to the actual reasons are completely different almost 95% of the cases.

I posted before about the real reasons for the mudug conflicts compared to what was reported (road construction, qabyaalad, borders etc) Similar to this current crap about troops not getting paid is also a side show, they haven't been paid for months, why all of a sudden now?

The conflict always starts with the elitists at the top over money and it's allocation, if you follow the money you find the reasons, Gaas signed a deal with rival DP world also from the UAE for Bosaaso port, in that deal he was getting paid around 20 million.

The conflict is due to the way he structured this payment to go directly into his coffers instead of the public P/land coffers, he thought he was slick they wouldn't find out, but the other elitists caught him and hence the kacdoon was started and got kicked out of Garowe.

It was the same thing that happened when more then a year ago he was barred from Garowe and stayed in Gaalkacayo instead, similar money issue he didn't want to share, Faroole's group had a list of demands if he didn't fulfil he would not return, he reluctantly full filled them and returned.

This type of corruption and tuugnimo happens all over Somalia, but there is a big difference between P/land and the other regions, the other regions it's easier to get away with it because the elitist circles are not that big, but in P/land that circle is very big and organised, hence you will not get away with such a theft.

The reason he moved to Bosaaso this time is a circus show (the grenade attacks followed), it's to convince the UAE that somehow he has control, I believe once they release the money to him, he would run away with it like Gheedi Fanax did with the 30 million in Xamar to Kenya, given to him by Saudi's.

He tried this kind of stuff on a smaller scale before and it didn't work, but he is one persistent fucker and I give him that. This is the whole source of conflicts that plagued his administration.

This will put him on a head collision course with the new government. You have to admire this dude zeal, persistent and tuugnimo, it's incredible that he is even trying this without P/land parliament approval nor the Somali government.

This could also be a ploy by the UAE, to cause a rift with the new government they oppose, but it's backfiring very quickly, he is trying to bribe a few governors from his Jufo and elites to run away with this incredible loot.
