Puntland is after our people - by claiming our people they pocket funding from aid donors intended for the SSC regions and a greater share in the federal government.

Somaliland is after our land - by claiming and occupying our land they also pocket aid money intended for the SSC regions and they believe they'll receive recognition from this claim.

Essentially, they both have their own agendas for putting claim to our territory. Neither administrations care about the wellbeing of the Dhulbahante clans and the development of the SSC regions. Furthermore, neither administrations desire to equally and equitably share the administration with us.
