Why do somalis fight inbetween eachother when they have so much natural resources

Somalia in 1940 every tribe had it's sultanate and it's kingdom.

So don't need to ask every second to second why Somalis don't get along with each other.

I think Somalia will end up like the Arabian gulf states atleast that's what Ethiopia and Kenya wants.

Before the white man colonized us, we were killing each other and raiding each other. Is that what you want to return to? Being a geeljire that butchers and steals from muslims? The reason why somali people did not have unified country is because we are AFRICANS and BACKWARD. Before british come to kenya, they were monkeys swinging from trees. But today they have a country the white man gave them that is doing better than us even though they don't speak the same f-king language and have no history.

Things went downhill after 1977. It all went disastrously wrong in 1991 when Ethiopian gorillas destroyed the country. After that Somalinimo died only to be briefly restructure during the ICU era.

Before 91 we weren't nearly as qabiilist as we are today. Believe it or not, Isaaqs were once the greatest Somali nationalists.

We are only starting to heal. But we got a long way to go. Warlord presidents, kleptomaniac official, wild clan militias, and foreign influences are our main problem.

Somalis are unhappy with the current status quo. They are fed and are starting to ask for change. Future looks kinda promising today ngl.

2. Just because we are "1 ethnic group" does not mean we have to stop fighting each other for the sake of being 1 ethnic group. No it doesnt work like that. You have to remember that we are first our clans and sub-clans before we are somalis this is how it always worked and continue to do. (If we are being honest we are not the same people nor 1 ethnic group. Some clans share their origins/ancestors to Arabian peninsula (semitic) while other clans are the original Somalis (cushitic) from Somali peninsula. But i dont want to get into that now so i'll let that slide.)


3. Somalia have a lot of natural resources which is true, but you have to remember we are a clan- state nation. So best way is every clan state to worry about their clan people and develop their state and use their natural resurces on by the people of that state. If every clan state does this then Somalia will be peaceful country and no fighting between somalis will happen..meaning that we will live happily in our clan state without fearing of other clan state declaring war, and other countries will see Somalia as a peaceful country.
