Ethiopias greatness didn't start with the king who helped the arabs. We are a people who have overcome so many foes to remain independent. We faught the adal (afar) muslims, the brits, Egyptians, Sudanese, and Italians. Our emperor menilik decisively ousted all incursions into our lands and expanded the kingdom to its current state. In my book after his reign is where the mighty Ethiopia started to fracture. But even to this day we are persevering until our true king awakens and reclaims his throne.
