Sxb there has been influx of draught-effected HG nomads to hiiraan from the neighbouring Galgaduud since December last year now they got enough rain in their region but instead of moving back to their region they started building houses made of jiinged, digging walls, water pool, muqaayad to curve out a village in eastern Hiiraan wich is part of degmada maxaas not matabaan a place where you cant find HG. so for months they have been told to stop this instead of listening they started sending water booyado from gureceel and arms from ahlussuna and created militias in there. their militias caused tentions so they got clashed. a day ago they attacked a family breaking their fast at maqrib and killed 6 of them, in retaliation, hawadle nomads launched masssive attack on their new bases, destroyed them and chased them out of Hiiraan. now we r trying to deploy troops on the border but ahlussuna and their dhaqan support their nomads gaining a foothold in eastern hiiraan and dont want to reach a de-escalation solution. this is what our Ugaas is talking about.

I dont think this is one isolated incident but a series of more to come.

. But what we've seen happening is that as the rainfall becomes more erratic, people are not just facing a drought once every 10 years they're facing the drought every year or every other year.

which means every year there is a draught,this year,next year and next year.expect more bloodshed on this front.drought wil keep people out of their land every year and next one which in turn adds more conflicst over resources and war if the nomads move with their firearms.

62 years old. he is not normal odey dhaqameed he is very educated. was the major accountant in fanance ministry in the 80s also worked as agaasime for berbera port and being to everywhere. his predicessor was veterinarian him and ex pm geedi have graduated from the same university. the late ugaas was younger than him. he had one wife and two daughters who graduated from the uk universities.

Yesterday ahlusuna claimed they get in between the two militia and spoke from there with the news and radiyos before Ciidamada Djbouti and hiiraan also claim today so it looks like its co-operation between all parties, but if we have to side with one it have to be the one who break the news first which is ahlusina.
