The Whole concept of the F-35 relies on stealth which is already well on the way to obsolescence already it can be seen by the latest radars in China and Russia , they just cannot track it , but all this needs is more processing power and we all know that moore's law is still a thing.
Within 10 years stealth is finished and all you will be left with is a brick that can barley fly.
Just looking at pictures and the estimated weight , wing loading and aspect ratio , unless the US really has a UFO from Roswell and they reverse engineers some new meta material , the F-35 will be terrible in a dogfight.
