Mr.Autistic I'd rather learn Swahili because It's useful in more countries.

Useless language if you're not Oromo..obviously. My parents taught us Swahili before they even taught us oromiffa (borana)...useless language either way.

One is a widely recognized, influential and demanding language spoken in the South Eastern Africa (7+ countries).

The other is a marginalised language spoken by a marginalised group. It is irrelevant and non-existent outside of Oromo region unless if you plan on becoming a farmer.

Swahili is more useful and have used it in Zaire, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda Kenya Somalia, Malawi and Burundi.
