Thank goodness I haven't used CCleaner for years, and it isn't installed on my current PC. Good old Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes (plus common sense) have been my armor shield for years now.

If you're on Windows 10, it's a spyware by itself and MS Security Essentials only provides the bare minimum and the way they update it and the whole system, it's just dreadful.
