Ori meaning wife is NOT an old Somali and is a word used throughout the Somali territories though the word 'xaas' (an imported word) is more often used.

So = meat, - is not old Somali but is an obscure word which is still in use and widely used in many regions and at same time is hardly used in some and never used in some Somaali deegaans.

Sar = hide, - the same goes for this word.

From the words you have used as an example of 'old Somali' , I think what you are looking for is obscure words or such words that are not known by the 'Say Walaahi' generation and the 'gareeyn' (as in waxaan try-gareeyn) folks of the diaspora folks, another words the heedless, illiterate, ill informed and lacking in vocabulary and for such folks any Somali word that is new to them and not used in their circles, is 'old' Somali or belongs to some other deegaan.

I know what you are talking about, it is called Dumaal. Usually a widow or divorcee marries ur fathers relative. How about if your mother marries your cousin. You can't call ur cousin adeer warya.
