I have seen many monkeys running amok here claiming Kismaayo is theirs especially the cagdheer donkeys. I will tell you one thing Kismaayo harti baa leh. I have been to kismaayo last summer and the city was 65% harti ilaahay baa kuugu dharshayee. Boowe, hadaad rabtaan nabad iyo horumar ciyaarta iyo foojada naga daaya. Heck, i have seen some langaab biyomaal or dhuusomaal niggas online claiming jubbaland. If they did that in JL they will get a hot bullet right in between the eyes. Jubbaland waa mamulka dadweeynaha darood siiba Sade iyo Kablalax.

Kismayo is multi-clan city.Mareexaan,Majerteen and Ogaden equally settle the city then Hawiye yaryar comes and last but not the least,Biimaal and jareerweyne live in town .

Last time The Mayor was Harti man.Mareexan having ruled the city for long time ,they made a lasting impression in the city in terms population,settlement (Guulwade,) and as well as businesses. The Hawiye in town are Shiikhaal,Cawrmaleh and Gaaljecel .They form a dominant minority group in the city.Biimaal and Jareerweyne has a strong presence in town .They are relatively peaceful clans who intermarry a lot .


Having mentioned the above 101 about the city.It is not big surprise to conclude with the verdict that KISMAYO IS CURRENTLY AN OGADEN CITY.And all the rest form a minority and marginalized cluster of clans
