You're lucky to live there. I can't stand these winters.

It's bloody hot as hell here in South Australia over the weekend (42°C, whatever the hell that's in Fahrenheit). I would rather have winter than this heat.

That's insane TWIST! You really need to invest in air conditioner, and if you have one fight the urge to worry about the hefty electricity bill that awaitsTwist wrote: It's bloody hot as hell here in South Australia over the weekend (42°C, whatever the hell that's in Fahrenheit). And here I am thinking we are experiencing a really unusually warm January with no relief from temperatures in the range of late 20's and overnight low's of early 20's.

Lol! I have aircon in my place (though the one in my car is stuffed), but I generally don't like the hot weather. I was like that even back home with our mild weather in the south where it's around 30°C most of the year, though it's humid there and you sweat a lot.

We don't have it as bad as Adelaide, Brisbane (I f-king hate Brisbane summer the most) or Melbourne, but believe it or not I have not gone outside today as it is a bloody scorcher. Inside the house too isn't any better as I don't have air con

I never thought it gets that hot in Kiwiland.I made it obvious, but you didn't have to expose where am residing.. It gets hot if you haven't lived through a 42 degree heatwave in Aus. We are softies --mercury topped 35 degrees in the beautiful Wanaka yesterday qualifying it automatically as a record heatwave not seen since 1975

. The difference here is the sun is much more intense than Aus.
Wait, what? I was double-checking that cuz I'm sure you mentioned that here ages ago. Lol! Why all the secrecy though? Ma qof aad gaad-gaad ku haysay baad been u sheegtay, anna howshii baan qarribay? Sorry if that's the case.
Tuushi, that's how I feel about the hot summers here. I would definitely have winter over this heat. I have been to Finland, US, and Canada ten years ago during the winter, in January, around this time of the year, and I much preferred that weather to ours. F summer heat!
