Re: Exxon US oil company will start drilling in Somalia soon
Like paul kagame hired tony Blair as adviser, PM khaire must hire tony Blair adviser to Somali government.
Re: Exxon US oil company will start drilling in Somalia soon
PM khaire should also hire hon farah maalim adviser to Somali government in security and foreign policy sectors. He have huge experience in political field plus being honourable person.

There will not be any search for oil in Wanlawein nor what was once East Africa's mini-Yugoslavia (the now dead Somali Democratic Republic).
I don't expect a naag busy with her tampons to know these kind of things but let's touch on few issues.
A) The US does not need to search for oil in foreign soils. I think you do not follow things and have no clue how the world has changed today.
- US is in surplus of its own local oil and will soon over the Saudis and the Russians as the largest oil producer. So why go in foreign soils?
News flash:
B) Wanlawein Republic and Kenya have crisis over who controls offshore oil reserves or potential areas
C) Somaliland long left the union and issued its own tenders to its own partners (Genel Energy, etc)
D) Puntland region issued its own licenses to its own contractors and will not allow the AMISOM project to over ride its own deals.
E) Galmudug has its own interests
F) Hawiye as whole will not trust the Kuwaitis (afar qoble) to dictate their resources
G) Gedo has no oil
There is no Americans coming. Please focus on your tampon.

The U.S. is poised to take the title of world’s largest oil producer this year.
According to the latest report from the International Energy Agency (IEA), “this year promises to be a record-setting one for the US,” with the potential of surpassing the output of Saudi Arabia and Russia.

I agree with USA Secretary-of defence James Matis! He says finally Somalia has president worthy Supporting
Re: Exxon US oil company will start drilling in Somalia soon
Mattis said changing a "culture of corruption" takes time, adding that Somalia had "finally got a president worth supporting." The Somali government has agreed to develop new accountability criteria that meet American standards, a State Department official said.
"We have a good relationship with President [Mohamed Abdullahi] Farmajo and his administration, but as you know, he inherited a very difficult situation," Mattis said.

The first oil drill will be in the mid to late 2020’s inshallah, from what I hear it will take years for both the exploration and oil laws to be constructed. Somalia will not be Nigeria 2.0. If needs be, it should take decades if it would mean no corruption.
