Let us make one thing clear, there are no killings going on. People are demonstrating due to lack of progress and development in Shinile. Yes, there are few developments, like building roads, water holes every 50KM for nomads' livestock. The issue is there are many jobless youth in the area and more tax is collected than received back in development projects.

There are over a million residents in Sitti but only one freaking hospital and no university. While a small tuulo, I won't mention, farther east, has 6 hospitals and 3 universities. That is unfair. People have been patient long enough but for how long.

No Liyu police (btw many are Ciise, and are the only ones allowed to operate in Sitti) or dabadhilif Egal will stop this movement should the youths' demands not met.

Wacchi, you have ulterior motive. On your other thread you said there were killings in Shinile, and provided no evidence. That is a classic case of fitna. Stop with the lies.

Jabuutawi,

I have no other motives. It's not my fault that the evil in your own heart makes you suspect everything and anything.
I report anything from back home that's relevant to us oromos/somalis/afars/etc.
I reported when afar and amhara had a border clash, near BATI, remember?
so let's be fair now and not jump to assumptions to conclusions.
i deserve, like you do, the benefit of the doubt, as your brother.

No malice toward anyone here.

I called folks all over, DD, Shinile town, heck even Djibouti, no one knows or heard of any casualty. They may have taken few kids to jail, and have been released since then. No casualty.

I am trying to lessen my presence in this place and other forums leading up to the holy month.

Ramadan Kariim.

Our man Abdiraahid Ali Shua is spearheading the struggle through out the region. We are awaiting Jigjiga to rise up next. No body should pay attention to OAF and Zidane. They both hooyadood wasooyin sixran. I can't see why any sane Moslem would support Filthy Iley much less an Ogaden. We ogadens suffered the most under Iley's Tigrai affiliated administration
Suffered the most under iley? Are you saying that before his reign we were in much better state than we are today? with so much development, graduating students, jobs, and so on? or were we as Ogadens targeted for being ONLF elements?
the region had just seen relief and development after when he was elected, that can compete with the rest of Ethiopia.

Funny fact is, the most people who run to Abdi Iley in Jigjiga are your people, yet when they go back to their western countries they wont hesitate to insult him and his clan.
ungrateful sons of hookers.

Dulmidiid is a clanbased qabiliste group who has not even 1 educated person but rather taxi drivers as leaders with no structure on how to reach their goal and after they reach their goal, they are mostly jidwaaqs who are mad about Ogadens dominance in DDSI and specially Jigjiga, the only non jidwaaq person is Abdirashid ali Shuah, another taxi driver who i witnessed stabbing another ogaden reer godey ah.

I'm not amazed that you brought up your qabiliste cousin the taxi driver of oslo who stabs people with knife when he loses an argument, do you think a person like that could do any harm to the horumar of DDSI? war iyo faan baad wada hoyada wasse.

If your not happy with Abdi Iley, go move to jubaland and suck off your uncle axmuq madoobe.

Which Tuulo further in the east are you reffering to? If by any chance you mean an Ogaden town you talking out of ur stinking ass.

It is not our fault that you Gudhu laangaabs haven't fired a single shot at Ethiopia for the past 40 years but still suffered equally as us. Yet still you people are more disrespected by the Ethiopians and why would they respect you?
People respect those they fear could cause them harm. All ur so called degmos in ur poverty stricken, drought prone region are infact desolate hamlets!!!!!

If the Ethiopians want to appease us by pouring more money in to our degaans it is because our boys have died and killed like men to the extent where the Habashas had to resort to using Ogaden militias when they couldn't defeat our forces on their own. It is a badge of honor for me to have been finally defeated by my fellow Ogaden and not the raw meat feasting Habashas

Brush up on some history kid. The Ciise were targeted by the Ethiopian State in the 60's and 70's. The fact that they managed to regroup and reassert themselves over the Oromo and Afar that were being used against them by the State exemplifies that they are fighting folk. The Somaliweyn border would not be at the Awash were it not for the Ciise.

Image

As for the recent ONLF conflict in K5, when was it ever a Somaliweyn conflict? It was a clan based militia fighting against the Ethiopian State. Don't get it twisted, it was every Somali for himself after the Ethiopian/Somali Civil War in K5. ONLF fought a Good Fight, but as its name implies, it was an Ogaden resistance movement. Do you honestly expect Somalis that hate each other will stand united against the Xabash/Oromos? Lets keep it real, if there is ever a full-on war between Somalis and Oromo/Tigre/Amhar, do you think we will not back stab each other?
