Arms Embargo will never be lifted until
Somaliland becomes officially recognised as a separate country since neighbouring Somalia will never, peacefully or not, reunite itself with SL

It has nothing to do with regional states like Somaliland, I personally think arms embargo should not be lifted until we have a professional and responsible army, not these ragtag militia posing as soldiers, selling their arms in the open market, taking orders from foreign leaders and duking it with other "soldiers" from different qabiils.
However, things are improving gradually and so all hope is not lost.

firstly Somaliland is an independent country so what are you talking about regional state. Secondly the international community will not allow Somalia to force Somaliland to unite which will cause untold bloodshed like in the late 80s so you have NO CHOICE but to recognise the independence of SomalilandAdvo wrote: Sun Jul 29, 2018 3:24 pm It has nothing to do with regional states like Somaliland, I personally think arms embargo should not be lifted until we have a professional and responsible army, not these ragtag militia posing as soldiers, selling their arms in the open market, taking orders from foreign leaders and duking it with other "soldiers" from different qabiils.

Independent region that governed itself after the civil war, kudos to the Somaliland administration for their hard work and foresight.SuperLander wrote: Sun Jul 29, 2018 4:08 pmfirstly Somaliland is an independent country so what are you talking about regional state. Somalia ceased to exist in 1991. There is an amisom entity which is just a western backed so called 4 .5 gov't. Most of south Somalia is in the hands of shabaab

Re: Arms Embargo will never be lifted until
You believe Somaliland is a country but think we're the ones day dreaming? Bwahahaha
Re: Arms Embargo will never be lifted until
The arms embargo won't be lifted because the reality is a significant amount of Somalis support Al shabaab. Also there is no doubt we would see a surge in tribal conflict.

Re: Arms Embargo will never be lifted until
What are you talking about Advo we already achieved the dream of independence nearly 30 years ago and since then Somaliland is looking for diplomatic recognition of such independence - independence and recognition are two different things
Answer my question directly, how will Somalia reunite itself with Somaliland if it doesn’t recognise SL’s independence. I already know the answer is that there will be no reunification of any kind ever again either peacefully or militarily
