Tol Jeclo DNA results

Post by KowJow »

Jaamacatu DNA reporting :D

An Axmed Sheikh Isaxaaq (Tol Jeclo) indivdual in the Somali DNA project is positive for Haplogroup T-M70 (Y16897).

https://www.familytreedna.com/public/so ... e=yresults

And a Habar Yoonis in the T project whos sub clan was hitherto unknown has revealed he belongs to the Muuse Cabdalle clan.

So far, It looks like Haplogroup T will come out as the majority Haplogroup in the Isaaq, and not E-V32 as previously thought, i predict a frequency of HG T somewhere bewteen 60-70%.

Tol Jeclo are their own branch but are grouped with Habar Jeclo though not under them.

Tol jeclo is the one who went with the tol while Habar Jeclo chose their mother.

Wa sidas.

Yeah, people often get confused and think they are Habar Jeclo, but they are Habar Xabuusheed which is different from HJ though people mistakenly use these terms interchangeably. The Tol Jeclos are a stand alone clan like Habar Awal, Garxajis and Arap.

I think a Makahil dude was positive for HG T on 23andme, i'm not a member of that site so i can't confirm. If the numerous tests results of the Jibril and Xuseen Abokors are anything to go by, it looks like Sacad Muuse are majority E-V32 with a few sub-clans being HG T.

There are no Ogadens currently participating in FTDNA projects, the only Daaroods there are Dhulos, Warsans and a Leelkase. But from what i read online Ogadens seem to be E-V32 mostly.

I've just been checking out the Somali DNA project and Strangely enough, going by STRs it looks like the E-V32 Warsangali shares a more recent ancestor with the E-V32 Habar Awals than they do with their fellow Harti Dhulbahantes and the Daarood Leelkase.

:ohhh:

The Warsangali has 0 differences with the Habar Awal at 12 markers but has a whopping 6 differences with their fellow Daarood Leelkase at 12 markers, and 8 differences at 25 markers. This can only mean that the Warsangali share a more recent paternal ancestor with the Habar Awal and that they are not closely related to the Dhulos and are especially not related to the Leelkase within recent history as clan mythology has led us to believe.

Sacad Muuse : 12 23 11 10 16-18 11 12 11 13 12 30
Sacad Muuse : 12 23 11 10 16-18 11 12 11 13 12 30
Warsangeli : 12 23 11 10 16-18 11 12 11 13 12 30 14 9-10 11 11 25 14 21 33 13-15-16-16
Daarood-Leelkase-reer Axmed : 13 24 11 10 15-17 11 13 12 13 12 31 13 9-10 11 11 25 14 21 33 13-15-16-17

So even though Daaroods might majority be E-V32, they are still a confederation of different lineages or what some of you would call a "fake clan". The Harti Sub-clan so far has been revealed to be the most diverse clan, not only do they have different and unrelated E-V32 lineages, they also have 3 confirmed Haplogroups (J1, E-V32 and T-M70) and 2 as of yet unconfirmed ones ( J2, R1a).

Funny topic.

Where are the Dir ancestry shoppers?

They would be all over this but I think the Oromo reclaimed them.

So far only two. One of them is E-V32 whilst the other's result is E-M78 (So E-V32 most likely).

Sup Hawdian? How's the drought in NSW?

Old news man, it is posted here for the benefit of non-Jamacatul DNA members.

If I am an Oromo, what does that make Isaaqs that share the same lineage?

What else you got for us members of Jamacatul DNA Benny? Any other clans you can shed light on? Any J relatives by any chance? :lupe:
