I've just been checking out the Somali DNA project and Strangely enough, going by STRs it looks like the E-V32 Warsangali shares a more recent ancestor with the E-V32 Habar Awals than they do with their fellow Harti Dhulbahantes and the Daarood Leelkase.
The Warsangali has
0 differences with the Habar Awal at 12 markers but has a whopping
6 differences with their fellow Daarood Leelkase at 12 markers, and
8 differences at 25 markers. This can only mean that the Warsangali share a more recent paternal ancestor with the Habar Awal and that they are not closely related to the Dhulos and are especially not related to the Leelkase within recent history as clan mythology has led us to believe.

So even though Daaroods might majority be E-V32, they are still a confederation of different lineages or what some of you would call a "fake clan". The Harti Sub-clan so far has been revealed to be the most diverse clan, not only do they have different and unrelated E-V32 lineages, they also have 3 confirmed Haplogroups (J1, E-V32 and T-M70) and 2 as of yet unconfirmed ones ( J2, R1a).
