Funny how these things work. The same people that killed Somali nationalism and ransacked the coffers of the Somali state are living in the worst conditions imaginable today.. complete and utter destitution. Both qurjiile and boon marehan are at the very bottom of living conditions in the Horn, even by Somali standards. Both are occupied, ruled in their own land, both live in the poorest regions of the former Somali republic, absolutely no hope, no way out.

It is why they keep regurgitating the repetitive fake pseudo-nationalistic rhetoric above, it is the only thing they can do to feel better about their utterly bleak conditions.
