Waaq and Baale old Somali God

I am very interested in these Gods of old, yeye like me some of that monotheist history, why isn't it discussed in a fair objective manner without any bad intention towards Islam.

I noticed its usually Islam bashers that go into these topics, but in reality these names are present in ancient history, in the Quraan, in our lineages, in our language, in names of sites and towns.

Waaq is only present in the religious and cultural folklore of Somalia, not Somaliland.

Good point bro, Allah sent alot of prophets who came from all nations, there is no evidence of Waaq being shirk or anti-Islam, but there is common belief it was a monotheist religion prior to Prophet Muhammed SWC

As for Baale I believe there is baale hassan, part of Ciise Muuse.
Also HJ has the 4 baale brothers, Although the real name is ilma wacays. People best know them as Afarta baale.

Yeah Baalle is very common in Somali clans aswell as Somali folklore



This Arab supremacy needs to stop, we Somalis are an ancient people and yes we have been influenced by ideas prior to Islam, although we are 100% proud muslims today we should acknowledge our history as it also unifies us.

Are you talking about the Baale that comes originally from Hebrew language and was one of the names for God, the idol worshipers in the middle east appropriated the name Baale from the Hebrews and named their idol Baale and later it was a heresy.

But how do you relate that to Somalis ? any evidence.
