What’s the hold up for Ahmed to clamp down against this parallel military force and government in Tigray? Has he ceded the province

A snake is killed on the head scenario. Tigres know who's the boss and dealing directly with them.

For the sake of the country not becoming like mogadishu in the 1990s bro.
It's easier said than done, when it comes to dismantling a renegade government within a government, that has money and is armed to the teeth.
tigray's armaments rivals that of neighboring countries from what we know. they for sure have a stronger army than most somali states, djibouti of course.
amhara have the advantage in manpower and knowledge of their terrain if tplf is dumb enough to venture deep into their lands, which i doubt they'll do.

are u sure sir? last i checked, liyyu is still armed and has their forces, and onlf has joined them,
the somalis are uniting too, what is your complaints. last i checked, somalis were not this united in the abdi illey days.
regardless of your personal vendetta against oromo, at least be fair/man enough, to admit it how it is.

So what’s the end game for tigryians. It can’t be ruling ethiopia again that would be ridiculous and they’re land locked with a small population they wouldn’t be a viable country.

My thoughts are they’re trying to join Eritrea and take it over but afewerki isn’t having it. That’s why he’s teamed up with abiye.

They'll never rule again but want to so bad.
Allegedly they have been calling Pm Abiy daily asking him to tell Amhara to stop provoking Tigray.
The last part is possible which is why Eritrean's may surprise us all and help amharas militarily simply because tplf is a common enemy for all.

Tplf led tigray has more arms
Amhara have way more manpower
Both are technically landlocked,
Sudan seems to be more friendly towards tplf
It can get complicated indeed.
We shall see. I advise oromo to not pick sides to be honest.
