Lmao somaliland only needs a simple majority of the AU nations to vote for it to be inducted into the AU. Somaliland fills all the requirements of AU membership thats why it's case was left on pending instead of rejected. EU and America said they'll recognise somaliland if the AU does. Somalia has no legal case for territorial integrity with somaliland under international law. Somalilands strangulation was as a result of lobbying. We have the Africans and the Arabs on our side now. Farmaajo is a god send for somaliland. We have made our case clear somaliland and Somalia have no treaty of union. We have stressed the dangers of Somali irredentism to our neighbours who'll be next on the list after somaliland. We have embedded ourselves in the financial and security geopolitical field of the horn meaning somalilands stability is in the interests of anyone who has interests in the region. We have created a democracy and made sure terrorism and piracy never had a foothold in Somaliland. We have made Somalia into a anarchic aggressor. It's over.

Don't you think all those worthless arguments haven't been made during the last 30 years?
The secessionists have tried every trick in the book....and some to no avail.
I don't even bother responding these day's......the world has repeated over and over again..."THERE IS ONLY ONE SOMALIA"

What is SL's "territorial integrity" based on?MajorIgaare wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 3:01 pm Lmao somaliland only needs a simple majority of the AU nations to vote for it to be inducted into the AU. Is based on boarder agreement of 1960 independence. And also a 2001 referendum.

It took South sudan 40plus years to gain independence. Somaliland can wait 50 years plus. As long as the quo status exists. Somalilabd has full control over its policy and engagements.original dervish wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 3:36 pm Don't you think all those worthless arguments haven't been made during the last 30 years?

Re: President biixi on a state visit to the Republic of Guinea.
Somalilands territorial integrity is based on chapter 4 of the UN convention which intails the self determination of colonised people which paved way for Britain giving us over Independance earlier than our treaty of protection stipulated. Somaliland became a sovereign nation on the 26th of June 1960 recognised by all UN security council members. Somaliland was then annex on the 31 of January 1961 whilst in the middle of negotiations of a treaty of union between Somalia and somaliland. Somalia created a treaty of union and retrospectivly passed it to start of on the 1st of July. Somaliland protested the referendum and there was a failed military coup. Somaliland was there for de facto controlled from Mogadishu for 30 years until freedom fighter took back their nation by force and declared Independance. The security Council members in response said we will leave this to the AU and let them deal with it and follow suit. Somalia used the Arab league to lobby against somalilands case being heard in the AU. Putting somaliland in a limbo state. The 2005 fact finding mission to somaliland confirmed all of this. The South African institute of law and many organisations have also come to this conclusion. Most books on international law also site the illegal union of somaliland and Somalia. In 2007 the African Union said this was the wrong time to look at the somaliland case as somalia has no government and is lawless. Somalia has pissed of the UN by kicking out there special representative for demanding answers to the illegal election on badioa and the killings of innocent people resisting Ethiopian domination of their elections. Somalia has pissed of Kenya and already had no respect in Africa. Somalia has also pissed of the Arab league by siding with rouge states of Qatar and Turkey. Somaliland is now lobbying for AU induction going from country to country and hosting many foreign ministers and parliamentarians. Somali irredentism is dangerous and goes against the AU 1964 Cairo declaration to respect colonial borders and sets a dangerous precident in the horn of Africa and the wider continent.paperino wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 5:24 pmWhat is SL's "territorial integrity" based on?MajorIgaare wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 3:01 pm Lmao somaliland only needs a simple majority of the AU nations to vote for it to be inducted into the AU. Subjugating, thank you for correcting me, as for hypnotizing what do you know about hawiye??
Isaaq don't know how hawiye thinks or acts, they're confusing to you but to us we know how to control them and the biggest evidence is what you see happening right now in galmudug. Farmaajo destroyed and he is building a new cabinet that will elect a new governor over that place.
Hawiye are easy to control, don't be fooled

I know they are easy to control , but I don't think you deserve to control them. They should stand up for their rights and slaughter you son of biitchs.
