Libra: Creation of a New Currency

Post by Jabuutawi »

Facebook is planning to create another currency that competes with the big dogs and the G-7 countries are not happy about it. It is much like Bitcoin but (big but) it is less volatile and has more credence than current crypto and blockchains out there. I just may get into this game now. I avoided Bitcoin because of its dubious origins and lack of transparency. Plus, Facebook has over 2.5 billion users, can't go wrong with that.

My portfolio is diversified: I'm into stocks, REITS and landlord of couple of properties. I have $5,000 set aside for this new currency. I will dive into it real slowly.

Launch Date: 2020.

I believe in XRP , you should buy some it's falling below 30 cents down from 40 last week . My Target is 3 pounds but it can reach upto 10 or may be more in the new future.

These crypto currencies pop up from different parts of the world that I have no faith in. At least I am knowledgeable about Facebook/Libra.

I saw on video one guy in California buy a Porche 911 Carrera Coupe with Bitcoins. Nah, I will wait for Libra. I do not think Facebook wants to tarnish its name if it acts like an average crypto currency. The rewards may be less but to me it is all about who is backing what and whom.

Another note: Diversification of portfolio, buy REITS from Fundrise. Yeah, returns are not as sexy as crypto but still at 17% annualized...will take it.

Kkkk what a shill coin, it's there "blockchain" version of Chinese WePay/AliPay(accessible through the app WeChat/Alibaba). Zuck is a smart man but he's going against the banks which is a dangerous game to play.

Still plan on investing.
