Guhad is makahil and I am not.Doolo is in Wardheer.

I feel for Guhad because it is because of useless iley and Cagjar that have marginalised his community.
Iley targetted makahil because they were diehard ONLF and Cagjar is targetting makahil because they are an ONLF supporter base.Iley massacred alot of Makahil and favoured MJ over makahil. The attrocities he committed on Makahil is gruesome. As for Cagjar he is using liyu polis to suppress makahil and giving out makahil land to mJ and Marexan so that he can be called a good somali statrsman by shisheeyo proper wasteman like blackie.

Zumaale,

Your post made me laugh. Not as in I am ridiculing it, but like I looked up Bohol Garas and supposedly even a volcano eruption was confirmed by a district commissioner of the place. Bewildered scientists contacted the Ethiopian embassy in D.C for confirmation since Bohol Garas is allegedly a suburb of Dollow, Ethiopia. Ethiopians are like no such thing is going on anywhere there.

So this whole thing, and generally reverting back to previous convo about degmooyin, reminds me of information I have heard before about how Somalis, who find a way to scam everything, even scam humanitarian aid.

My cousin was born and bred in Luuq. He is in Sweden now, but his Marehan/Talxe mother still lives in Luuq and he goes back at least once every two years. He is the one who told me non-Marehan in Luuq town "waa fara ku tiris."

One side of Luuq is primarily reer Xassan with some reer Farah Ugaas (reer Diini) and the other side is Hawraaraame and reer Axmed. He told for as long as he remembers that was how Luuq city was (he was born in 1992).

As for the scame I was reminded of. He laughingly once added the only Rahanweyn he comes across permanently are other Marehan. I was confused and asked him what that meant.

Apparently in the mid 90's, some corrupt Marehan officials came across a profitable business venture. If the area was historically known as diverse, why not gain more aid in their name. He said they do this alll over.

He said Marehan will put together groups to claim other clans and collect the aid that way and resale it. He said Rahanweyn also do this too, but they will move out temporarily from Bakool to neighboring parts of Luuq and a single group will get two batches of aid instead of a single one. As soon as relief workers leave, the settlement disappears overnight.

He said one time he was asked by a Marehan businessman to join a small group that would claim to be "Sheekhaal" on the outskirts of Luuq and he would be paid afterwards. He said he refused.

This Bohol Garas issue honestly sounds like that scheme to me from the Dir who live in Doolo Ethiopia.

Ever since that time, I don't put a single amount of trust in accounts of aid workers because of the level of corruption in Somalis trying to get as much aid as possible.

I don't know where you get Macalinweyne, the only Rahanweyn in Luuq were Gasaargude and Gababaweyn.

Also, while there is still no overall peace treaty between Rahanweyn and Marehan to allow Rahanweyn to come back,I know there was a huge change in extreme Marehan intolerance to settlement. The change was caused by the famine.

At that time Dollow, Somalia was the only free district and it became the aid staging ground for fhe three regions of Gedo, Bay, and Bakool.

It was the first time since 1991 that Marehan allowed groups of Rahanweyn to settle down in this manner as IDP's. I can't imagine the heartlessness that would have refused.

When Luuq was freed, Luuq replaced Dollow and there are extensive IDP camps there now. I have also heard of Marehan employing Somali Bantu IDPs to farm as well.

Finally, there is no one more privy to Marehan views more than I.

Marehan continues to view themselves in a state of war with Rahanweyn (not directly as armed belligerents), but like North and South Korea. The armed conflict has never been settled although they are not fighting.

I have seen a number of high level Marehan leaders directly in control of the land nothing will change in the status quo between Marehan and Rahaneyn until "la heshiiya" with the first condition of heshiis being sheegashada inay dhaafaan.

So I am sorry dude. Things you read from UN relief workers are not always accuratem.
