Parliament will formally ask Kenya to remove troops, AU to remove Kenya from AMISOM

Post by Voltage »

Someone with small minded grudge against the government for bypassing Xawaadle elders to remove troops from Beled-Weyne has been on a witch hunt against Farmaajo even ridiculously insinuating the Somali parliament will take up impeachment motion predicted just from worthless Abshir Bukhaari's presence in Kismaayo.

Fortunately Somali parliament doesn't run on the small minded petty tribal grudges.

Word has reached me THINGS ARE SPEEDING UP.

Originally the Somali Parliament was to take up and vote on a motion asking Kenya to remove its troops IF Kenya did not accept the ICJ verdict (provided Somalia won the court case).

HOWEVER, because of the violation of Somalia's airspace by Kenya and the presence of Kenyan officials in Kismaayo as a result of that, PARLIAMENT HAS DECIDED TO TAKE UP THAT MOTION NOW!

As a show of unity, the motion will be introduced jointly by representative from all 5 Federal States.

The Parliament will also FORMALLY CONDEMN the participants of the Kismaayo charade as having worked in the interest of Somalia's enemies.

If the Parliament votes to remove Kenyan troops from Somalia, the Somali Government will OFFICIALLY ask the African Union to remove Kenya from AMISOM.

I am told IGAD (led by Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Eritrea) will also at that point signal "strong support" for the position of the Somali Gov.

Official legitimacy will be lost for Kenya at that point; any presence of Kenyan troops in Somalia at that point will be considered an invasion.

Things will be speeding up faster than we originally assumed (really because of the reer baadiye nature of Kenya's actions---they don't even know how to interfere effectively).

I was opposed when Sharif Ahmed allowed them to join AMISOM in 2012. I wanted them to be financially bankrupt from their first war

Abdiwahab, they are worthless. For 8 years, they haven't moved passed the city of Kismaayo. What are they good for?

Abdiwahab252,

Shariif has 59 IQ, and can’t read. Luckily the International community disregarded that bogus MOU. With regard to the troops that’s the last issue but I think it will be worked out. Once officially out of AMISOM Kenya will not have the logistics to sustain themselves in Somalia for 1 day :win:

They didn’t but they draw the same paycheck as Uganda, Burundi, etc to carry out private national objectives under the AMISOM mandate. Take away the funding, and you’ve swept the rug from under them. They don’t have the funds to stay there.

Those 8 years you have been the thorn in the flesh.Every government you were in was trying to bring it down.
Saciid PM using Baree hiraale and other spoilers, there was Zakaria using AS.Then farmajo.
You tried everything from economic sabotage to abusing government reaources to instigate ethnci clashes in Kismaayo. The 2013 clashes were all planned by your uncles and today your uncles are planning the smae thing. The leopard has never changed its spots.

But Hiraale had no opposition he was in Kismaayo for more than 8 years and the only achievement was to steal public land like schools and also government land and build houses and shanties.

You had a time to create a state but its not in Marexan DNA to create states but they know how to use state resources to embezzle funds as well as exploiting and marginalisng others.

That puppet parliament which is modelled like North korea will not work they can bark as mich as they want.
Where were they when Ethiopians were butchering the somali citizens in Baidoa to reinstate the dictator Lafta Gareen who has imprisoned and silenced opposition.Do you think That the same model can be replicated in Kismaayo?
When you commit a crime like the case of Baidoa and UN bodies cry foul you kick out the UN rerpesentative.
But you want the same UN to support you in Kismaayo when you are helpless.

Are you paying the funding? Al shabaab is an existential threat to the national security of Kenya. There is no way the EU and America will cut Kenya’s money. Even if they did Israel will pay it.

Djanvo,

My advice to you is to get behind the rehabilitated Seeraar and Xiddig before a generation of Somalis grow up seeing you guys as foreign agents and not really citizens of Somalia.

I will get behind serar when he pledges to us that he will get back Bardheere and Fafaxduun by any means nencessary.

But when Farmajo cannot even trust Serar and has to also prop up another Ogaden candidate why should I trust him? Do you think I will.support my folks being treated as sacrificial lamb? To secure the future of Farmajos kins in Kismaayo?
You cant eevwn hide your emotions in snet on how you folks hate on Fartaag because he wNts peace with Ogaden and you call.him a traitor. If you see me an enemy then I will start seeing you as one.I will treat you just like you treat me and our allies like Fartaag,Janaan etc.
